Still running? Waiting on mine…
What is NAME of the unit ??
Just found your vid that strimmer was that good it nearly took it’s self to do the job when you put it down was looking for one but must of stopped selling as link was a year ago as not working Shame looks good
I bough the same one under the brand name of "Denzel"!
Its realy is a very well engineered trimmer/cutter.
But potential buyers be warned!!! This thing is heavy as hell! With fuel and everything is probably over 10kg! That’s Stihl 880 teritory just for comparison!! My hands are still thingling(and its midnight now),after a few hours of sawing around my garden today!
You have been warned!
For occasional cut or trim the hedge it will be ok probably. But if you look for more than hour or two work… than this wouldnt cut it!(pun intended) 😁
Just shell the money for an Echo…
Ok did i miss where did you buy this ?
Who Company brand ????? Name
Your supposed to take the little yellow thing off of the gas tank and it will flow a lot faster when pouring.
The speed feed has different adapters to fit different whips.
I also recently got one of these 5 in 1s. They’re great. Can’t be a pussy. Heavy as fuck compared to your expensive stuff.
I bought one on Ebay, I really like the unit but it is heavy. I still use it from time to time for the brush and chainsaw/pole saw.
What kind of gas can is that?
so other than cheap fuel lines and cheap head has block and carb been good? do you have over 50 hours on it yet?thanks
That’s cheap.
Got mine a couple of days ago…e-bay deal…$177.00…same exact unit…package was missing the chain saw blade safety cover and the "spike" type handle…wrote to their customer service yesterday…waiting to hear back from them…won’t be the end of the world if I don’t. However, a major glitch is the pull starter mechanism…on the 3rd start, the pull starter jammed in the extended position…chord won’t retract…took the mechanism off the machine and tried to loosen the Phillips screw that holds it onto the housing…figured that would possibly loosen up the tension on the recoil spring…the screw won’t budge…don’t want to force the screw…anyone had the same issue?
looks identical to my pos bluemax. that thing alone is making me hate chinese products. i suppose you can save some money buying these and upgrading the weak links with Stihl parts.
A little googling and I came across the Liam Sherwood 5 in 1 same exact thing as this. It does come with an Oregon chain and branded Liam. They sell that brand on Amazon UK and not available for shipping here to the U.S. I’d be willing to bet this the company that makes it for them but sells it cheaper unbranded which is the case for a lot of stuff we buy. It’s amazing how many things we buy that are branded that we think are better quality because it’s branded or "made to US standards" It’s still made in China! Great video sir!
Why was the Choke stiil in the choke position.
I may have missed where you said it, but the manual for these says 25 to 1 mix. This is the first chinese machine I”ve gotten, but I’m running what they ask for. Mine didn’t need adjustment, but it could just be by chance.
Ditto on the gas tank – never seen a tank that big on a trimmer.
Just by chance, I also got the same thing a couple of weeks ago and used it to trim one of my trees in the front yard. The mrs. wanted to hire a tree service to prune the tree, and this is a fraction of the cost of that (i’ve never hired a tree service and wouldn’t, but the mrs. might try to if I don’t get stuff taken care of).
I’m using it now to trim, too (I have a smaller shindaiwa t231 that I’ve been using for years, but I don’t have a large yard, my trimming is a ten minute job so the weight of this isn’t an issue. I think the shindaiwa will be on craigslist before the end of the week. The t231 is one of the weaker shindaiwas, but still, I didn’t expect the china-made trimmer to have two or three times the power (and it does – it’s way stronger running than I expected).
Very pleased.
I paid $161 shipped.
I’ve got tall hedges where the hedge attachment will come in handy, but wasn’t even looking for that. Just a nice added bonus.
How much?
My 31 cc hurts my arms. It’s heavy. Switched to a 128 ld but will not discard the 31 cc because it’s just to big a machine. Unless I can investigate this one.
im replacing a Stihl weedeater with this model, and i must say THIS is the best value in weedeaters. it is built SO well, and in some ways far better than my old stihl. great video btw man! you did a wonderful job showing all the details, and i REALLY love how you answered my question about the speedfeed 450! the 450 would not fit on the stihl without heavy modification, so i am SUPER happy i can now use the 450 head!! i absolutely love this tool and cannot recommend it enough.
Thanks for your video. Just received my unit. Could you tell me where you got you replacement heads for the line trimmer a link if is Amazon a lot of units show up if I search speed feed 450 on amazon.
The hedgecutter is crap thin metal blades
Thank you for this very useful and extensive review. I’ve just received mine today (T-Mech 5 in 1 Multi-Tool ref.10611) and when I had a look at the choke switch I noticed that they have added a little sticker with "Cold start – Choke on" (TOP position) and "Run – Choke off" (BOTTOM position) which contradicts the instructions on the original moulded plastic cover "OFF" (TOP) and "ON" (BOTTOM).
Also, when it comes to the oil-fuel mix, the ratio is clearly 1 to 40 (in the instruction manual and at the back of the engine itself). Can’t wait to get this going!
I got excited about this, but can’t find any in stock. Bummer
Is this a copy of the shindawa? It looks like mine
Cool deal boss! Hey, I like the driveshafts slidin out…ifn you take em out, clean and grease em every once in a while…well the driveline will last maybe even from now on. Great deal and great video….heck, ya sold me on one…lol! Many Blessings, Kev
Is it still working good and would you recommend it
Can you take a look inside the auto feed strimmer head and let us know how to reload the nylon. The one I have has no holes in the spool to hold the line as you wrap the new stuff on. Cheers.
Those gray material cuffs or gaiters are to be worn around your ankles, to keep the weed and grass cuttings, maybe small stones, from going in your boot tops.
52cc! That thing must weigh a TON! The Stihl KM131R is only 36.3 cc.
If anyone finds a sweeper attachment, I’d like to know
Where u get parts
End caps stops rods coming out, I’m having trouble finding the oil filter
Im sorry whats the name of this product?
On the high-dollar Stihl or husky, you have THREE carb adj.screws…
1.)Low idle
2.)high speed
3.)idle set
In 27 years,I’d like to see if your new weed trimmer is still running like new like my Stihls are.
I bought this tool. Adj carb in like 5 seconds after it started on 3rd pull. This machine is a freakin beast. The string line is strong and spins so fast the grass looks like a tornado flying around. I hope it last awhile. It sounds mean as hell just idling. Ebay for $178. $209 with shipping. Only thing wrong is cutoff switch didn’t work. I just pull sparkplug boot off to kill it.
Can you or someone tell me the width of the tube of the attachments so I can see if an attachment I have would fit if I get one.
Nice machine. They set it rich for the breaking in/running in period of the new engine. I break in/run in a new 2 stroke engine for a full year before I run at full power. I have had and used my trimmer for seventeen years and still runs like new.
I use a still fs100rx but dang that thing is a beast I will look into getting one
Sticker on engine says 25:1 not 40:1 on the same 52cc model
FYI I suspect you may have a third carb adjustment. There’s probably a third screw in the center of the rotatory portion looking down at the top of the carb (inside the brass part). This is for idle mixture. Turn it until you get the highest idle speed, then 1/4-1/2 turns out, then set your idle speed with the other screw.
The one you got is much heaver than the one I bought, I have the same brand and got mine from Home Depot. You got a good deal. I wish I had saw your video first. Mine does not have any grease fittings. Mine has a Number on the back MFT 26. You got a deal. It did start right up. The engine is very heavy.
WHO MAKES YOURS ?
Hello how is it running now please upload another video I’m thinking about purchasing one myself thanks for sharing
20:50 Can’t see from the video because fingers were covering it. Is the internal shaft SQUARE or SPLINE?
The grey leg covers are for when you are trimming, for the weed eater they are shin protectors. Nice, and you got hearing protectors. Who make this ? I got mine from Home Depot for $175.00 plus tax. I had a 15% coupon and free shipping. Mine is a Sunseeker 26cc 4 in 1. You got a 5 in 1 and 52cc. It take 50: to 1. I think you got a great deal!
Will this united take standard attachments from brands like ryobi or troy built with the standard universal shaft?
Just a Echo
