The Basics of Greenhouse Gardening

Hi I’m Jeff King. My job is to raise vegetables for the 300 people living at the Woodcrest Bruderhof in Rifton, NY. I’ll be doing a series of videos about our garden – things we’ve learned that work and things that don’t. We start out in the greenhouse. Let me know what you think.

To see the whole series, watch the playlist here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RuvqptVzmFY&list=PLok9NKiaKB47e2D0j8SNY8jqqW3rCzTqn&index=3

Wondering what the Bruderhof is? We’re a bunch of families and children, singles and older people living together in intentional Christian community. We share our money, possessions, and try to live our lives like the first Christians as described in the Acts of the Apostles. For more, check out our website at https://www.bruderhof.com or watch this video here: https://youtu.be/9ohC8cEcdOE

I loved the down-to-earth advice, authenticity & decency of this presenter. After years of gardening, I realize why my seedlings grew ‘leggy’ or were given too much heat. All this in these few minutes. Thank you!

Thank you so much for your video. This was very helpful for me. I am just starting out and I am the proud owner of a new greenhouse. Much smaller than your community one but it will work great for my family. Thank you for your knowledge and sharing.

Very good information but the music is distracting. Good for intros and for changing location or subject but annoying otherwise.
