Pebble Aquascape Tutorial – Rare Hardscape Nature Aquarium

1st job guys. Hit the like for me if you enjoy the video. It helps more than you know.

So I had these pebble just sitting there and thought it was best to use them for something. I’m happy with how the scape turned out after making a few changes that you will see in the video.

Hey there! Neat video once again… I’m wondering though: Do you have CO2 running in this thing? If not, I’m very curious to see if the Monte Carlo makes it. I haven’t had any success with it without any CO2…

At 2:04 when you’re spraying the moss as you attach it to the branch, is it just water you’re using in the spray bottle?

  7. HeRo on December 7, 2020 at 9:25 pm

wow that is very nice. what a calming effect. What are the filter’s accessories that seem like glass? (entry/exit of water and top kind of skimmer). Love your channel.

Great scape. I just purchased about 87 pounds of rock from my local rock yard for aquascaping. This gives me some great ideas for their use.

Very nice, good job, missed the nomanomammmmsesssesiflorammmmmpffff. Lol
Love the way you pronounce some plants names, like it matters,we all know what you mean. Except for that new bee who goes to his Lfs and asks for the plant you showed and memorized it the way you pronounce it, that’s good for a laugh, I see them salespeople laugh and say : so you ve seen MD haven’t you? Lol. Love your work mate.

Love Your Man Shed, and beautiful scapes and tanks. I have a request though. Do you think you could try your hand at a corner unit? i have a juwel trigon 190, and would love to see some ideas on scaping it, it has it difficulties of course. Thank you for your time.

I saw a cool trick for when ADA or similar aqua soil spills over into the sand, you can use a magnet to pick it up. I saw another video where some guy had a magnet on the end of a stick and he would just pick up the little balls of aqua soil out of the sand with the magnet and shake it and it would fall right off, apparently there’s a little bit of iron in them and for the OCD people who like to keep them separate I thought that was a pretty good tip. Lol.

Hi from Denmark! I am a new subscriber to your YouTube. Love your vidios and your aquascapes! And your sense of humor is great 😊

By the way … thanks for the tip with filter floss between the stone so the bottom layer dont fall through πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘

Do you like green? Why you dont add some red plant in your tank? Just asking πŸ˜€

  34. Sif on December 7, 2020 at 9:57 pm

    beautiful

  35. Shane Zettelmier on December 7, 2020 at 9:57 pm

I like it sparse like that now that the background is off, I’m thinking of it with a couple weeks growth. I love the way it looks, a lot of the tanks look great the day you do them and then a week or two later the plants fill in and it’s just a big ball of Green. I think I like it with a lot of the background showing and not a lot of plants like right after you took the stuff off and repainted the wall I really liked the depth of it.

Looks amazing, where did you buy your wood from? It always seems excessively expensive from fish shops and online.

  46. Rishov Bhattacharya on December 7, 2020 at 10:10 pm

Your videos are very inspiring in-terms of ideas regarding planted aquariums, you make it look so easy,I would like to ask wether this tank runs on co2 and fertilizers or either of it,would you classify this tank as a low-tech if yes then it would be a great help as Im planning for a similar kind of setup.

  48. Marc on December 7, 2020 at 10:12 pm

I like your work. For this particular scape I think that the rocks are too much lined up. It breaks for me with the idea of a natural scape. I have some river rocks in one of my tanks and left them more random. I have separated the 2 different substrates with an L-shaped piece of drift wood. Looking forward to your next scape.

  49. Shu Kaw on December 7, 2020 at 10:13 pm

Crystal clear water how to maintain it dude.

  50. J. Boney on December 7, 2020 at 10:15 pm

I’m so sad I can’t find rocks like this anywhere that’s aquarium safe. I found some I tested from a landscaping company but they are small and I would like some lighter colored ones that are more like this size.
