Nice but but I wouldn’t use it because you can grow ore, which just ruins the whole thing for me

Despiste that i allways loved this mod and all stuff it adds to the game the textures dont seem to match with the vanila version of this game

Just a little thing about this mod in Beta 18, it and any of it’s standalone derivatives somehow conflicts with Realistic Rooms mod, causing the colonists to fall into a repeated eating bug.
They’ll begin eating but drop the food halfway through, then pick it back up and drop it again halfway through eating.
This seems to continue until starvation reaches close to incapacitation at which point they’ll actually finish eating their meal, but before this they’ll be stuck until they almost starve to death and can get incapacitated if they don’t reach their meal in time.

I’ve tested this on several clean installs, new saves, different machines, different mod load orders, adding more mods, but these two alone conflict, so watch out for that.

I’m pretty sure you can get fertilizer form cremating bodies.

  8. Heinz Erhardt on December 13, 2020 at 9:36 pm

Wow. This looks really tempting. Makes me want to back and play Rimworld again!

  9. Matheus Jahnke on December 13, 2020 at 9:36 pm

Does the mod include Pizza addiction?

  10. Brad Munro on December 13, 2020 at 9:37 pm

  11. Beau B on December 13, 2020 at 9:40 pm

  14. Royal_ish on December 13, 2020 at 9:49 pm

I’ve actually looked into this and I think when I pick RimWorld back up I will be play with it, or at least when A17 supports it.

Porridge and Stew are the KINGS of this mod.

  16. Paweł Kozek on December 13, 2020 at 9:50 pm

I don’t know why but I can’t make any alcohol with this mod 🙁 pawns dont fill the barrels with wort/potatoes or anything

  17. Tatsu on December 13, 2020 at 9:52 pm

Vanilla rimworld cooking: (Vegan): Plant one thing, wait, harvest, throw at the cooking table, meal ready.
(Meat): Get a weapon, kill, butcher, throw at the cooking table, meal ready.

Vegetable Garden: Same as vanilla + to more advanced meals you need to plant more stuff, plant trees just for the wood, PLANT RESOURCES!, etc

    Worth it ? : TOTALLY!
If you like simple mods, maybe yes or maybe not

i realise this video is old, so anything i ask about could be changed
but what are these blue lighted machines that i see in every room ?

  19. just a guy on December 13, 2020 at 9:59 pm

There’s no need for variety of dishes in base game so the complexity that this mod brings is redundant, though true a very nice job to the one who made it

  20. christopher fieb on December 13, 2020 at 10:02 pm

love this mod…brings so much new stuff and the meals grant some decent buffs

I know this would be tedious but i would LOVE a *complete* table of every recepie and what they do exactly to compare and see what is the best for what, so i (and everyone) knows what to grow! Please!

Some important aspects of the mod you didn’t mention, but which I picked up after a few hours/days of working with it. The stew increases blood pumping and blood filtration and it is a very early lavish meal that makes 8 at a time. The advanced hydroponics also has its own growing light so you do not need to light it with a sun lamp. But yea, soooo much stuff to cover in this mod. Great job!

This mod may be a bit much for me 🤣 I’d prefer a bit more of a middle ground. Is there a mod that adds a bit more complexity to cooking and farming in vanilla, but not quite this much?

  28. Little Raptor on December 13, 2020 at 10:19 pm

is this save compatible? (can i load the mod in a existing game)

  29. Alex Oelkers on December 13, 2020 at 10:25 pm

cool but where do you go to download it?

  30. Uram der Rote on December 13, 2020 at 10:25 pm

To get Fertilizer there is also the Composter Box to "grow" Fertilizer. It’s the slowest way but you only need wood to make the box and a grower to "plant" the fertilizer.
Also the "Place Soil" can be used to make growable earth deep inside of mountains. Just smooth the stone floor and place soil on it. And a sunlamp too, of course. But turning stone into earth is quite something.
