Winter is fast approaching but I am still excited because this is the first time I have had vegetables in the garden in December in Chicago (zone 6B)! Great video Batavia. I definitely have to order me some of that cold tolerant lettuce. I love the way it grows compact and that burgundy color is beautiful! Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful Christmas!

🌱Greetings Chi-Neighbor! Everything is looking good over there! I just harvested my few little collards, kale, and kohlrabi with a couple of tomatoes then put my garden to bed❄. Looking forward to my plans for 2021 by God’s grace. 👩🏾‍🌾Happy gardening to you. 🌷🌸🌷🌸🌷🌸

I listen to you describing your temps. and feel ashamed for complaining when its in the 50’s here in Northern California, zone 10a! I will think of you next time I don’t want to tend my garden because its ,"too cold"! I love your videos, enjoy the holiday season!

Great update🙌🌱I wonder what what pest was eating that kale in the winter time ? I just watched on aphids ok not to bad to deal with. Just watch they might be back in the spring from there Eggs overwintering🙌🌱a few neem drenches should take care of that before the weather warms back up. Also how many times does the Swiss chard get harvested since it was sowed or has it now been harvested yet I know nothing about Swiss chard 🙌🌱🌱
