5 Garden MISTAKES You DON'T want to make in July and August!

It’s midsummer in the garden and a few fixable mistakes can make all the difference between bigger current and future harvests. The gardening season is either half gone, or we have half a growing season left. We still have time to plant some summer veggies and extend our harvests as deep into fall as possible, plus we can start planting our fall veggies as well.

Thanks for the kind words and support 😁🐕❤️

I’m in the same geographical location as you brother. It’s my first season and have had great success with Better Boy tomatos and bell, banana peppers. I’m getting upset it’s August and moving towards the end of the NJ growing season. I want to bring my therapy inside, any suggestions on an indoor garden?

It’s amazing watching 10+ minutes of a big person with alot of personality…and just a few seconds of small dog digging makes you completely forget about the reason you clicked on that big person’s video….☺️

Check out videos on urine as fertilizer. Amazing results! Sterile, and full nitrogen. Just don’t use if there are meds in it, especially for veggies.

Hey James, love the channel! I was wondering if you happened to check with Tuck’s vet before cutting his fur? Some breeds need their fur for insulation, so it helps to keep them cool in the summer time too.

I also have two cats who always come with me in the garden. at the first time, I think they just want me to feed them. as the time pass by, they only sleep and lay themselves on top of grass enjoying sun exposure on their body (seriously it was hot we have no winter here, every day temp always around 25 – 32 degree C.) they are just sun lover. every time I move to other side they always follow. If I stuck in one spot for long time (doing transplanting or pruning) they will lay down again.

Thanks so much for your videos. They are so informative and help me with some of my gardening issues. I appreciate all the help I can get since I am starting to really enjoy my gardening more and more each year and always look forward to spring when I can start all over again. There is just something about growing things on my own that gives me such a great feeling of accomplishment. Not to mention it tastes so much better than the store bought veggies.

Can you give me some advice on my tomatoes cause the bottom leaves are getting yellow and we have rain, and also the blossoms on them a drop off or turn yellow. So they not bearing.

  37. Ezway Ocho on December 24, 2020 at 10:43 pm

I was using lawn clippings in my organic garden. Son-in-law just gave the "OK" 👌 for pest control man to SPRAY THE LAWNS! 🤦😟 Won’t be able to use the lawn clippings anymore. Hope he has fun bagging it up for trash collection day. Will have to talk to some neighbors now & see who doesn’t use pesticides on their grass 🤦

The struggle is REAL when trying to be all organic 😳

In particular about your 3rd point, mulching, does this equally apply to container gardening? I find that when it is hot out, watering every other day keeps the weight of the containers right. Though I know this works, do you think there is a better way?
