    I liked your video as it confirmed most of my ideas on how I will proceed. One thing I would like to mention is that you did "brick" your sods but you didn’t actually make mention that this is what should be done. By "bricking" I mean overlapping the sods as though you were laying bricks in a wall. Overall well done though….hope my DIY turf project comes out as good as yours πŸ™‚

    Good video. If the ends of the rolls of turf are not square, overlap one roll end onto another by about 2 inches. Then cut through both mats of turf with a long knife. Throw away the trimmed ends and you should have two straight edges to join together.
