I`m in the retirement stage of my life. I perform a bit of cabinetry, produce musical instruments, and carry out woodturning in my small shop. I found this woodworking guide, “pepe amazing plan” (Google it), and acquired it despite the fact that I own many woodworking books in the house. The comprehensiveness of this book is amazing. Each and every subject matter of the book is covered well.

Cool project as usual. I had a near miss with you at the build space in Boston… I met with them 2 weeks ago and when I mentioned youtube they said you had just walked by. It would have been cool so shake hands and talk shop for a minute. Maybe there will be another opportunity some day.

Still no website update on this or several recent projects.

No mention of alternatives in case our Home Depot doesn’t carry the decking boards. Come on Ben 🙁

  21. gfichten on February 17, 2021 at 9:28 pm

Some mentioned that table doesn’t look to sturdy if you push against it. How can I make it better? I like the design/colors/simplicity, but I am not sold on joints using butt joints. Will pocket joints help?

  22. KayDogCreations on February 17, 2021 at 9:29 pm

I really wish I could do something like this.

  23. MrHandwerk on February 17, 2021 at 9:29 pm

Your measurements don’t add up on your website for the bench. For a start it says 9 lengths of 62inch hardwood. How can it be 9 lengths if you use 3 per bench ? Secondly the measurements of 2×4 Is for a single bench so how you can’t say that the hardwood is for 2 benches???

  27. Tylan A on February 17, 2021 at 9:35 pm

Hi you are really good at making this so you have inspired me to make this wonderful peace

  28. Sherry U. on February 17, 2021 at 9:35 pm

  30. Norma Lilia on February 17, 2021 at 9:35 pm

  32. Benno Lyon on February 17, 2021 at 9:39 pm

will the table legs really be sturdy enough with no braces, just four screws attached to top frame?

  33. Gefferson Soares on February 17, 2021 at 9:39 pm

    k massa ficou legal

  34. David Moss on February 17, 2021 at 9:40 pm

  38. Jordan Occhiuzzio Vieira Jr. on February 17, 2021 at 9:42 pm

Hey Ben big fan of your work! Quick question. I would like to build this table twice as big, what altaration would you recommend as support in the middle of it? Thank you!

    your site is down?

  42. Pat Claar on February 17, 2021 at 9:43 pm

I have to say that “pepe amazing plan” (Google it) is a wonderful wood working book. It gives a lot of general info that will help any beginner and even some skilled wood worker. Surprisingly, this book has been my partner whenever I wish to look up woods at areas and other topics such as restoring as well as salvaging spots.

  43. Salman Sheikh on February 17, 2021 at 9:46 pm

what kind of wood is on top?

  44. Sherryl Keith on February 17, 2021 at 9:47 pm

Work goes much faster and nicer with stodoys instructions.

  45. L Bank on February 17, 2021 at 9:47 pm

This would have looked nicer if it was designed so that the hardware was not visible. Pocket hole jig etc.

  46. Philip Shie on February 17, 2021 at 9:49 pm

Nicely done with good look. If you have a good track saw, one tip to save time in the future is to install the decking material on the table first. You can then use track saw to cut across the end of the table so that all the pieces line up and saves more time instead of using miter saw in the beginning.

  47. Maximilian Gollmar on February 17, 2021 at 9:50 pm

    Hey Ben,
this table looks awesome but i wonder if the legs are stiff enough if you push against the top.
