They’re gorgeous! A lot of work! Is that AqueDuct stuff safe for pollinators? How about the rest of the stuff?

As an Indian let me give you a tip to make your soil absorb water even more… just add organic matter to your soil like dry leaves decomposed or even half decomposed kitchen waste, cow dung manure etc .. this will provide huge nutrition to your plant and will help the soil hold moisture for longer period of time.. and do limit use of chemical fertilisers to your soil…

I did everything he recommended for my baskets this year and they are fabulous! Every one that sees them comments on how beautiful and full they are. It is the end of October here (IN) and they are still gorgeous. Usually by now the baskets are pretty scraggly and not pretty, and I am so ready to get rid of them. This year I will wait till a freeze kills them. I just wish I had room to bring them all inside, I have enjoyed them that much.
THANK YOU so much for sharing your knowledge.

Americans are easily one of the most suggestible people on earth. Looking through the comments on this video, it appears they want to eat anybody who does not agree with the video alive.
To start with, nothing in that video is going to enhance anybody’s knowledge.
The author failed to explain that because of the volume of the planting medium, the basket will dry out very easily, and to alleviate that, its essential to use a water retaining substance. Even a diaper will be effective.
The plant foods does not need to be the ones he mentioned. Any balanced NPK 5-5-5 or 10-10-10 etc will do.
After which for the second feed of the week any tomato feed will suffice.

You didn’t mention anything about pruning them. Is this how the baskets became so full ? Do you just let them grow out ?

I never forgot you or what you looked like. I found your video on You Tube years ago. I tried your formula, and it was amazing the flowers I was getting after following your instructions. Now, I’ve been through a lot since then over the years, and forgot for while about your program, but was noticing I’m not getting flowers in my yard, and I should have tons as I have a lot of flowers . I’m going back to this program. I’ll post in a few weeks how my flowers are doing.

  32. Dale Stiles on February 17, 2021 at 9:41 pm

Thank you very much for the valuable advice! I’ve been struggling with my pots in the Texas heat and was concerned I was giving them too much water. The petunias have gotten leggy in the month of August and I’m trying to restore them so they’ll continue blooming until October or November. This advice is golden.

  40. Macinoid DM on February 17, 2021 at 9:48 pm

Thanks so much!! Every year I spend so much money on wave petunias and special soil and south facing with lots of Colorado heat. They never get long and cascade without looking leggy and low blooms so than I have to cut them. I never get what you have or see at other places. Thank you for all the suggestions. I will try it tomorrow after I buy all your recommendations. Thank you so much!! Your flowers look amazing do I know you know what you are doing. 👍😁😉

I’ve been trying his method and my plants have been booming. It has really breathed new life into my miniature roses. Cost adds up after awhile, but totally worth it.
