    If you’ve put soil directly against the wall of the house you are going to get problems with damp on the inside wall of the house.

    Really nice job! My only recommendation would have been to made it one block lower in height. Having the plants sunken down so much looks a little odd. You could put more dirt but as others have said that might cause problems against the house. Still very well done!

    HI – I just did something similiar with my house (but mine looks less nice as yours)! A lot of people are telling me I should not have down that because the water will affect the foundation of my house and cause dampness issues. Have you had any of those issues?

    That wall will fall over in a few years or less without proper amounts of gravel directly behind the wall for drainage.
