GREENHOUSE IN MINNESOTA WINTER

Hi there. I’m Matt and along with my wife Sara, our 4 kids, 2 dogs, 20+ chickens and too many fish to count we are making our homesteading dreams come true! Today we are in the new greenhouse build to see how it’s holding up to a Minnesota winter here in zone 4 B.

    I’ve read that the hoop house adds one zone level and a cold frame inside a hoop house can add another. That’s basically what you have with that plastic. So if you are a zone 4, hoop makes it zone 5 and plastic makes it 6. Nice work on the greenhouse!
