Some recommendations for high heat tolerant plants based on personal experience growing flowering plants in Houston summers – Marigolds( the shorter kind), Lantana (new gold variety), salvia faranacea, Purslane, zinnia( profusion orange is a favorite), vinca (cora or cora xr series as regular vinca is much more susceptible to blight), gomphrena, hibiscus, mandevilla, dusty miller, mexican heather, mexican petunia, pentas. Celosia hasnt ever worked that well for me. If you try any of these, let me know how they turn out
