i keep two aloe plants, only to fill in a space where i needed a quick plant, and i do not like it at all, its hard to grow and it hates me, i dont find it a pretty plant, and it always dies before i get pups, i water it once a month, and keep 2 feet from a south window, finally growing better, but i still hate that plant haha, to be honest, i am also allergic to it as a topical, so i use it for a fill in plant, i still have 2

I’ve been growing aloe outside. But it’s getting cold here. And I’ve had to bring them in. And I needed some tips. I buy them sometimes when they are distressed and try to save them. Thanks for the tips. New Subscriber here.😊

I always wonder how succulents are known to be desert plants but go bad indoors if they see direct sunlight 🙁

Hello I enjoy your space about aloe vera. I just recently purchased an aloe, and do I need to repot from the small plastic container it was in?

  14. mardel3 on April 24, 2021 at 12:45 am

Love aloes, they were my first plants that got me into the love of houseplants. I did overwater one and I had to cut the stem off and reroot it in soil which has been a success. Great to see you Nell. Hope you are feeling better.

In Phoenix, mine do best in part sun and part shade. Those get HUGE! I just stick it in the ground. The soil seems to not matter.

  24. Ines on April 24, 2021 at 1:10 am

Hi! Great video, but could you elaborate on the soil mix for indoors? American “cactus soil mix” can be very different to the one I find in Europe, here it’s just sand and soil, after a while it becomes rock solid…

Hello, I have an issue with my aloe Vera pants and I really need your help. I transplanted my aloe vera a while ago. One aloe Vera pup is not growing at all. I put it alone in a small pot. It is green and plump but not growing at all for couple of months now. Please help.

I have aloe plants with creases in the leaves and also brown slits. Should I cut under the crease for it to grow?
