Logee's Longhouse Greenhouse Tour — Ep 171

The Longhouse is the only greenhouse at Logee’s that is open for the public, but since I had never seen it before, I wanted to go through with Byron Martin, the co-owner of Logee’s Greenhouses, to see what he had on display.

Wow I know that green flower tree . My grandpa planted it in our garden Vietnam. The scent is amazing. I think we call it the princess flower tree . It has huge trunk which grows direct. It is our tallest tree. This brings back wonderful childhood memories ❤️

Been there, toured all their greenhouses, and I have ordered from their catalog. That was about 23 years ago. Maybe it was in the old greenhouse the guy was talking about, but there was a huge brugmansia tree in the center, with huge flowers hanging down.

  26. Alizea Geminia on May 4, 2021 at 1:18 am

  27. b s on May 4, 2021 at 1:19 am

Anyone who wants to get plants— beware of too much water and know your humidity, even if it says to water once a week or whatever it maybe different depending on the humidity time of year size of plant, pot its in, the Sun it gets off its closer to a vent, and soil used

I had a blast watching this tour in one tab while I had Logee’s site opened in another tab, just adding these plants to my wishlist as I went. Great tour!

P.S. 30:54 – My grandma always had Circus Peanuts in the house in the 1960s! Although they have different flavors now, the classic orange ones were banana flavored.

My newest addiction, I’ve ordered from them 4 times in the past 13 months. The plants arrived well packaged and healthy. I’m happy to say all 16 are still alive and thriving.
