Marigolds look nice when small but grow leggy later. And in my experience they never deterred any pest.

Hi and thanks for your compost-in-a-bag video! I live in the Western Cape of South Africa and am an avid veggie gardener. I’m going to start mine today and I have one question: can I keep adding new food scraps and browns to the bag or do I need to have a separate bag/bucket each time?

  29. BENITA aka Bennette IBANEZ on May 8, 2021 at 1:27 am

Just watched other videos of garden pros about container sizes and learned Tomatoes and Eggplants, Zucchini or peppers to at least use a 5 gal per plant or 10 gal max, as too much soil can cause root rot as there’s twice as much soil in a 20 gal pot that will be watered in.. Confused with these container sizes now.. That 20 gal just took more than 2 bags of potting soil with just 1 plant. Wow!

Very Beautiful Presenter, very knowledgeable video, learned a lot from your video,

  32. Keyboardje on May 8, 2021 at 1:28 am

Good soil is very expensive. It looks to me that if you need this much for every single plant, it might be cheaper to just buy organic produce in the store.

    Hi Cali
love your videos and I got so many ideas from them.
Pls tell me how to water with that container since I saw you use a little pipe around the plant. How does that pipe works?

  50. Kathy Cordonier on May 8, 2021 at 1:53 am

I love your videos, I’m also a So. California girl in an area with really hot summers and since watching you grow things in grow bags I’ve been doing the same. My question is I have medium size bags (a bunch of them) and wanted to know if they are big enough for a tomato plant to grown in without being too crowded?
