Is it possible for growing lavender too

  15. Alessia Briggs on May 13, 2021 at 1:30 am

Thank you! Iโ€™m new to gardening. Do you always start seeds indoors? If I use this method can I leave them outside? Is the plastic covering considered indirect sunlight? If I have a greenhouse, would you leave the plants in there the whole time or move them outside after they have sprouted?

  27. mamilalapaints on May 13, 2021 at 1:43 am

Not sure if you will answer, since this was posted awhile ago, but where did you have your container sit when you first planted your seeds? Can it be put outside if anything. Thanks.

I did something similar with a sams club cookie container and some cell trays. Now I’m on a rush shelving/grow pod build as my sprouts outgrow their cookie home quickly. Good stuff.

  31. Shahnilaz Mazhar on May 13, 2021 at 1:47 am

Can I do the seed germination in tissue paper? if so, please share your thoughts and the correct process of doing so.

  32. ashley pope on May 13, 2021 at 1:47 am

try a goldfish tank and use cling film on the top works really well make cling film is quite tight you don’t need to wrap the the whole tank just the top of it i managed to grow the beginning of tomato’s keep in mind this is very very early growing i am doing ๐Ÿ˜›

  33. Noah Riding on May 13, 2021 at 1:48 am

Do you still have to spray these every day? Or is the humidity dome enough to ‘water them for you’? How often should you spray with a humidity dome seed starter?

  37. Neal Watterson on May 13, 2021 at 1:54 am

Is there a need for holes to drain excess water? The video did not show this

  38. Eclectic Favors on May 13, 2021 at 1:55 am

I too use the plastic containers, since they come in all shapes and sizes. However, on the cheap, do not overlook plastic drinking cups, as a pack of 50 or 100 is cheaper than seedling trays. They are generally deeper as well, so you don’t have to "up pot", as much. Just be sure to add a couple of drainage holes in the bottom and don’t use the brittle cups. Another cheap tip, if you have a heated floor, use that as your heat mat. I use my bathroom floor until germination, then I move the plants to the light room. If you don’t have a dome to cover the seeds, use a piece of cardboard or plastic wrap to cover until they germinate. You most likely, will not have to water your seeds again until AFTER they germinate and you remove the cover.

  39. Wisconsin.pikachu on May 13, 2021 at 1:57 am

I had the same idea but I used some plastic containers I got some doughnuts in
