Are you rooting them or planting straight from cut?

  6. Rajesh Kassen on June 22, 2021 at 1:31 am

Hi Kevin & Richard, I think have an easier solution to the rust problem. There are 2 possible solutions/improvements. I dont have the issue so I cant test it, it’s chemical reactions or properties to consider.

  7. Maltfalc on June 22, 2021 at 1:32 am

9:35 Absolute BS. That’s not at all how fungus spreads from one location to another. Fungus needs high humidity to grow, not to spread.

My dragon fruit become yellow after pollination within 1 week, why it is so?

  14. The Propagating Falcon on June 22, 2021 at 1:46 am

I ordered 2 and only one is showing new growth but the cutting was bent like a bow. It’s in a one gallon so I need to put it in a big pot. It would be cool to put a dozen in a 100 gallon fabric pot.

  23. Greg on June 22, 2021 at 1:56 am

If a 20 gallon pot can support 4 dragon fruit vines, does that mean I can get away with using a 5 gallon pot for a single vine? Growing on an apartment balcony with limited space.

My cutting isn’t growing. How long does it take to grow tall?

  27. El Rodwen on June 22, 2021 at 2:00 am

    Hello Kevin,
    Thank you for the video.
Do I have to plant dragonfruit in a pot? Can’t I plant it in the ground? I noticed that for other fruiting plants, there is a tremendous difference in fuiting while planted in the ground, vs planted in a pot.

So I’ve got 2 cuttings that I just got a month ago and I’m growing them separately in smaller pots. I’m in Missouri and I read that the cactus can get too much sun in the summer time here if it’s over 80 degrees Fahrenheit so I’ve been giving it sun during the morning and then putting it in my shed in front of the window. One of the cuttings is really starting to bend and it’s only about 8 inches. Both the cuttings have what looks like cactus rust but it’s not really orange but there’s a lot of dead looking spots on the cuttings. Anyone have tips? I water them every 3 days, less than an inch each.

Trying to grow some dragonfruit for my best friend because she likes sweet stuff, the fruit is pretty, I don’t think she’s ever had dragonfruit, and she likes succulents and collects them, I’m only 11 tho and my dad gives me limited stuff to grow them so I’m scared they’ll die 🙁
