Nice to see the race shredding in the mountains. Van Der Poel deserves great respect for holding onto the yellow jersey as many days as he did. He lived up to the pressure of the yellow jersey.

At the end of each stage, what does Tadej P. drink in the little orange can?

  6. john jacob on July 13, 2021 at 1:57 am

I looked up ridiculous tv special effects.
It showed a sample of what NBC calls the sandbox with those silly game video looking bikes that slide up and back on a grid.

I love that this sport does not care about the rain. National Geographic interviewed an older French rider back in the 80s. He said you have to go seventy miles per hour on the downhill section (on a dry day) if you cannot deal with that retire and start a bike shop.

With the way the Tour has gone so far this year, when that water bottle rolled across the road in front of Teuns right before the finish line, my heart went in my throat. He almost hit it too and had to do a little wheel wiggle to avoid it. Crazy.

So Bob Roll did mountain bike racing. Mountain bike racing is a form of time trailing in general. While the spirit of it is laid-back, very possibly anarchist. Bob Roll kinda gets the idea of this leader that he doesn’t really care about his teammates, this man is strong enough to show it who is its boss.

  21. pat jeans on July 13, 2021 at 2:20 am

Once again we are to believe that one man is BEYOND stronger than everyone else. Not a single rival in the entire peloton, Not a single rider could even go a little bit with him. Is this Pro sports? Nothings changed in cycling.

  25. Edgar Perez on July 13, 2021 at 2:24 am

I believe only Egan Bernal can match tp, with that said, Egan Bernal after the vuelta needs to focus on the tour 2022 period, and have the best team around him, including Richard Carapas and Daniel Felipe Martinez as gregarios, the only medicine to beat Tadej.

It reminds me of Lance Armstrong so strong, and that’s exactly how lance started, hope the kid is not on drugs.

  32. OneHairyGuy on July 13, 2021 at 2:30 am

I can’t imagine taking a turn at 40 MPH on a cycle in the rain !!! Do they use different tires for rainy days ?? Or are the same slick high pressure ones the normally use ??

  33. bobicabayo on July 13, 2021 at 2:31 am

29:40 "hes abput to enjoy his biggest moment" and Im looking at the water bottle dangerously rolling through the road…

  42. Black Mamba on July 13, 2021 at 2:41 am

  45. Oldgames1000 on July 13, 2021 at 2:45 am

8:07 Primoz smiling for the fans. What a guy.

  46. SD Mike on July 13, 2021 at 2:46 am

NBCSN: Great coverage. The announcers are all capable. Liggett is legend. Only thing on my TDF broadcast wish list…for today🤣, course % grade numbers would be swell. The camera does no justice to the steepness of the climbs!

  47. Proton on July 13, 2021 at 2:48 am

Pogacar is on some good juice

  48. Miah Saint-Georges on July 13, 2021 at 2:49 am

The editing in the Stage 8 video seemed a bit disjointed. Not always clear what was happening.
