Raised 4×8 Garden boxes in my side yard (build)

(3) 3/4 inch x 8 inch x 8 feet Cedar board , (2) 3/4 inch x 4 inch x 8 feet cedar board , cut 1 of the 3/4 inch x 8 inch x 8 feet cedar boards in half. Cut the smaller boards at 2 feet incraments. The fencing comes in 2 feet x 25 ft. rolls.

    Beautiful, would like to grow in that soil if I were a seed…. Good watching someone honestly work, like God watching us as grasshoppers maybe….. Local soil mart should have 1/2 yard or yards of sea soil, top soil, compost, etc., cheaper than bags. Can do _lasagne gardening_ = cover grass w cardboard then for great water retention bottom bark mulch or bark if you chop wood, add leaves or dried brown debris like last years plant stalks, then alternate greens (ie. compost = nitrogen) and browns (carbon) in repeating layers w soil on top, all decomposes producing rich soil for deep n happy roots. God bless you with a fruitful harvest.

    Great video JRE! I just tore out all my old raised beds because they were rotten. They lasted 5 years and were great but I did a major expansion this year. Happy gardening my friend 👍
