My garden is full of oaks and maples — almost no sun, so no fruit trees, no vegetable beds, and few flowers.

You should not let the mulch touch the tree base… I always leave about 6-8 inches of space for the tree base as the mulch holds moisture better and can cause the tree base to rot and if it is a wood based mulch which is usually the case is also growing nasty wood eating diseases and parasites which can infect your tree. I have lost more baby trees this way before learned the proper method & even if it does not kill the tree it will not have a great harvest if it has had to fight off sickness. This will increase your harvest mates.

I’m about to plant several varieties of fruit trees which I obtained from a very reputal grower. Most already have fruit growing and the branches do seem very stressed from the weight. In your one bit you mentioned removing the blooms, and I already past that stage? Should I just pull off all the fruit growing and wait for next years? Thanks, I’m new at this

A formidable video, I just given this onto a colleague who was doing a little bit analysis on this. And he in fact purchased me breakfast as a result of I discovered it for him.. smile. So let me reword that: Thnx for the treat! But yeah Thnkx for spending the time to discuss this, I feel strongly about it and love reading extra on this topic. If attainable, as you turn out to be experience, would you mind updating your youtube channel with extra particulars? It is extremely helpful for me. Big thumb up for this youtube channel put up!

Trees most definitely can feel. So they do have "feelings". Idk how you can say "doing this or not doing this can stress the tree out." And then say they don’t have feeling. Stress is a feeling. Your videos are very useful and informative. But I’m not sure how you couldn’t see that plant life is very much so responsive, and alive and aware of its surroundings. Maybe it’s not as obvious as I think it is. But either way, good video. I learned alot.
