What type of plants are most recommended for this type of containers?

There is no necessary to have drainage in ur planter. All my succulents planters no drainage, I measure the water when I watered my succulents and all are so very healthy no problem of watering.

Thank you for your video. I do have a moisture meter, but not a large syringe. Great idea! Where can you buy them?
Have you ever had a problem with Fungus Gnbats at your nursery? If so, what are your tips to get rid of them?
Thank you again for your videos, knowledge and wisdom about plants.
    😊

But you didn’t mention what you need to have at the bottom, you have three layers of stuff. What should I be putting in a non draining container like all the ones on display at stores? I always seen succulents in those glass balls that hang. It seems impractical.

I think I baked my first large arrangement to death 😭😭😭 put in a large outdoor plat pot with no holes. My front gets pounded with direct sunlight for about 11 hours straight and it gets so hot. My succulents turned brown in two days. I think it baked them because I dont think I over watered them.

Thank you for your videos, so helpful for a beginner like me. I do have a question – I was given quite a deep Succelent glass terrarium filled with soil, I have a moisture meter & syringe as per your advice. As Succelents have quite shallow roots do I water when the top half of the soil is dry or wait till all the soil is dry before watering?
