    Hi there,
What is the gray sealant you use?

Do you put landscape fabric between rock and dirt? Do you slant the dirt away from house prior to putting rock on top?

Can you drain the window well water to curbside slope or to street sidewalk?

I have a heavy clay mixture in the dirt around the house, so water drains poorly. I dug down to about the level of the floor inside the basement (3.5 feet below the window approximately) & plan to use river rock to fill the hole. Do you think it is deep enough?

    Thanks. Tom, redsfanatic@yahoo.com

I would think adding the rock is the same as adding ice to a full glass of water

I didn’t have window wells installed. Plan to dig the dirt out to expose joining seam, clean it and caulk it, fill the dirt back in and make a grade. Do you see problem fixing seam leak issue? Thanks.
