For the first edge after winter I usually go over the edge first with a trimmer then use the edger. The first time using my edger was back breaking and took a loooooong time. Now that I use my trimmer first me and the edger don’t have to work as hard

Just got one yesterday from Home Depot. Tried it out and I’m very happy with it. This thing does the job and does it very well. Just as good as the more expensive ones.

I got this one because my mower is gas and the smell of the gas is gross it comes with a two year warranty and the warranty you can purchase is two years it cuts nice and deep on my Bermuda grass

I was working on a electric cordless edging tool years ago when one did not exist and back then bowling greens and many other things would have benefited I always regret not taking a loan to take my prototype to marketing especially looking how poor this version is compared to mine from 20 years ago

When he started I was like, "I hope he uses a blower after." Did not disappoint. 😍

Can you guys do a demo of the trenching feature? I need to redo my garden bed edges because the grass has grown over and made them a mess, but I’m not sure if I should use the edger or the trenching feature. I think I have a Craftsman though.

What in the hell is the point of the loud crappy music? No comments?

I got my first edge hog in 1999. It lasted up until last week, when finally the motor started smoking cutting some thick wet grass. I’m glad they are still making them and this one looks much improved with improvements automatically erasing mud clog and more powerful motor. The first one needed new start switch at least twice about every 7 years. I used it at least 15-20 times per year.

I have had the same edger for over 8 years. This thing is a beast. Used it to lay down the invisible fence for my dog collars and the edging of my lawn.

  21. David Riley on August 6, 2021 at 9:44 pm

Video is good but you need to pull the music. We want to see the product not hear some awful music.

  22. Gerson Souza on August 6, 2021 at 9:45 pm

Thank you for sharing your experience with this edger, your video helped me deciding to buy it.

  23. cwrobinson6363 on August 6, 2021 at 9:46 pm

    Purse pants – check
    Crocs – check
    B&D Hog – check

I just replaced my hog with another one after 8 years. It’s a workhorse. Once you get that first cut through which can take some work, the rest is easy and fast. Great video. Thanks for posting.

Hahaha funny I use blue crocs and shorts and my neighbor says β€œYou’re crazy”…😱😱😱
So it’s funny to see someone else do the same. Except my hat is green camouflage..πŸ‘
Your edge turned out nice. Nice work..🌟🌟🌟🌟

  40. Pelt Down Posse on August 6, 2021 at 10:07 pm

Junk…Get a gasoline stick edger. You’ll love it. No chords….and more power…very fast.

Got one last week at Lowe’s for $90, works perfectly fine. Just makes the job easier and to think I used to do this manually with a shovel.

  44. Go Grow New Mexico on August 6, 2021 at 10:14 pm

Im guessing it was a waste of money because thats what it sounds like.
