I have no intention of buying this product, but I watched this video from start to finish! Great job with your script and delivery!

I do have a simple question.. given the fact you received a demo to review. Why would anyone buy this model? For say a starting price of $900 with a $30 month subscription, your ROI would never warrant the purchase. You would be losing money.

In comparison, take the Aerogarden Farm 24Xl, which is roughly the same cost. It’s a one time cost. You can plant anything from herbs to strawberries, basically anything that isn’t a root vegetable. The pods are reusable and you can use rock wool and your own seeds without having to buy from the manufacturer again and again.

This product doesn’t really offer any true value.

This was the best review of the Gardyn I’ve seen. Thanks for being so real! I still want one but we’re going to attempt some DIY hydroponics first and see how we like it. Thank you for the video! Very helpful!

great video. what an expensive introduction to home gardening. helluva premium. But certainly eases you into it.

  18. real_abiola on August 11, 2021 at 10:09 pm

Sorry, but the math isn’t mathing. $800 plus tax + monthly fee. Why is it so expensive for a bucket, pvc pipes and led lights?

  19. Jerome Tso Wing Huen on August 11, 2021 at 10:09 pm

Luckily I am living in a house with a garden outside, so we always plant organic greens for meals every day.

  33. Mike Coshan on August 11, 2021 at 10:22 pm

I think smart hydroponics would be great if the cost wasn’t so high …. also how come the gorgeous Bridget looks younger every time she posts a new video😊🤔 her daughter is very cute and adorable.

  34. Caleb Bernal on August 11, 2021 at 10:24 pm

Do you have a link or a name of what the garden is called or did I miss it during the video do you have a lot of links for CNET but nothing to do with the product they reviewed sad face

  37. Dale R. Cooper Creations and Curations on August 11, 2021 at 10:25 pm

A great presentation: informative, witty, sardonic, self-effacing, attractive, well spoken and a mellifluous voice, plus 2 cute kids – an ideal combination! I could watch this group watching paint dry! (This is not a serious suggestion for a future program!)

  38. sn232 on August 11, 2021 at 10:26 pm

Food grade hydrogen peroxide (3%), wiped onto the green fungus with a q-tip, would have gotten rid of it without killing the plants. Thanks for the video! So how often do you clean the insides of the tubes? I heard that you have to disassemble everything to clean the tubes, is that correct?

  39. NavigatedChaos on August 11, 2021 at 10:28 pm

AeroGarden has much better products for A LOT cheaper when on sale. Normal price for one about this size is $700 rounded. When on sale like today, it’s dropped to about $400.

  40. Morten Henn Nielsen on August 11, 2021 at 10:29 pm

What a nice review, Bridget! I loved it! Best regards from someone who is interested in a low maintenance, automated, indoor gardening system

  41. spike378 on August 11, 2021 at 10:29 pm

Great paid advertisement! You must be an idiot to spend money on this crap. You cane easily diy this or grow traditional way or buy your veggies cheaper in market

  42. Victor Andrade on August 11, 2021 at 10:30 pm

    i need one of those

  43. CNET on August 11, 2021 at 10:30 pm

What do you think of smart hydroponics? Are you ready to start growing your greens at home?

  44. Silent elysium on August 11, 2021 at 10:31 pm

You can build something better for about %70 cheaper. That company should be ashamed of themselves.

  45. Amy Reesor on August 11, 2021 at 10:34 pm

well this was informative but she is trying way too hard to BE funny instead of just being herself… and it’s annoying. 🙁

  46. You Me and Everyone on August 11, 2021 at 10:36 pm

It’s saving trip to shopping? Why don’t you order like pizza? Amazon doesn’t sell veggies?
    The heck… Dumb analogy.

  47. Sameet Sable on August 11, 2021 at 10:36 pm

In India we can build that within 150 dollars 🤣🤣🤣

  48. M. Jeddah on August 11, 2021 at 10:47 pm

Is is organic or at least non gmo?

  49. Kiran Kumar on August 11, 2021 at 10:48 pm

You can’t put the pods right in! They need to be first grown elsewhere until they sprout and then inserted into the Gardyn unit. This is a bummer for me. I don’t have to do that on my simple homemade garden system. $800 + $monthly gutted. No.

I still believe in good old grow tent.
