Prices in this video make you wanna ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ

At this price for wood, it is not worth doing this now. Try to find alternative.

For example, Costco sale 2 pack of 4 x 4 bed for $75, and Amazon sell 4 x 8 x 1 ft galvanized raised bed for $75. All cheaper than the wood used in this video (at current price).

I seen and saved this video a year ago, just got everything today. Wood was $45 each. I wish I would’ve done this a year ago ๐Ÿ˜ช

I live in eastern PA. I grow a bed of garlic and my first year was embarrassingly bad, not productive and stunted. So, I added a bunch of construction sand and the second year was so much better. Last year I added some more construction sand and my garlic was even better. I will be having a dump truck delivery of construction sand to mix into all my beds. This will help the beds absorb water instead of just running off. I am getting excited to see how my potatoes will grow with much more sand in the bed next year. The sand will certainly make it easier to dig them up. My tomatoes have done much better with the little bit of sand I mixed in last year.

I was amazed at how simple you made it look with the lumber and block but then the idea of using the cart to wheel in the soil was a bonus. How to garden smart! Thank you!

  33. Tina on August 13, 2021 at 10:36 pm

I just bought the wood and the cement blocks. I got the 10 inch by 10 ft long wood, maybe 1 inch thick. Those items cost me $93.00!!! I live in Orlando, Fl. area. I have the black cloth on the bottom, so maybe add another $10.00 on top of that so we’re at $103.00 before I add the soil & or straw for the bottom. It’ll be a lil pricey, but it’s a learning curve & fairly easy to do. ๐Ÿ™‚
I would add the pics, but don’t see the pic button.

  34. Yolanda Wright on August 13, 2021 at 10:36 pm
