15 Most Dangerous Trees You Should Never Touch

Trees are beautiful, majestic and borderline poetic. They give children something to climb, birds somewhere to live and provide all of us with precious, precious oxygen. But, did you know, there are some trees that are 10,000% NOT our friends? Did you know that there are some trees that are SO dangerous you shouldn’t even go near them, not alone TOUCH them! These are the most dangerous trees you should never touch!

16:00 it does look like ‘jabuticaba’, but this one doesn’t hurt you.

19:08 this is ‘mamona’ (or at least as it is called here in Brazil). In my childhood, I and my cousins used to throw its fruit (mamona balls) each other, on our bare backs, till it turned red and itch. No one of us died by playing with these mamona balls.

Shipworms (Teredidae) poise no danger to humans (other than potentially destroying our underwater wooden structures, and a rare giant variant in the Philippines that doesn’t actually consume wood, but instead, hydrogen sulfide, making it toxic to humans) and are a delicacy in some asian countries. They don’t burrow into your arms. They listicles are getting ridiculous, even by Youtube listicle channel’s incredibly low standards.

Lots of things strip paint from cars….eggs, milk, even gasoline will damage the paint on cars (which is why it’s a total dick move to egg cars around Halloween). And that is not even taking into account how sunshine, rain and the salt from road treatments are the biggest sources of damage to car paint.

12:41 Here is an example of where people think gloves have a magical quality of eliminating what you’re trying to protect yourself from. Sure she was wearing gloves, but in this clip you can clearly see her removing one glove and then touching the other glove with her hand. People don’t seem to realize that when you wear gloves, the outside of that glove still gets contaminated, and touching the outside of the glove will then transfer that to yourself. And also anything you touch with the glove will then be contaminated. I love watching these morons walking around wearing gloves because of covid, and they’re touching door handles, shopping carts, everything, and then they touch their cell phones and even their face with the same glove. Like come on… 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
