My potting shed is looking a little boring. I’m dressing it up a bit with some beautiful summer color!

What does the inside of the potting shed look like? The "creepy" root cellar would be a cool spooky video for October.

I would love to see a video on watering and how you manage all of it! Do you have any rain barrels or something similar to take advantage of the rainfall? The potting shed looks beautiful! Thank you for sharing πŸ™‚

How much sun does this area get? It looks pretty shaded for supertunias. Can they tolerate shade? If so I would LOVE to put them in containers the way you did! GORGEOUS πŸ™ŒπŸ»

Why did you choose an odd number for spacing of battens? 16" would have given more be more secure because you could have hit the shed. ( jump.wtf/cv6dqNI ) I would have spaced them evenly so as to not have that smaller spacing next to the closet shed…. Just my opinion.Nice work though, I’m just a stickler for details.

Oh, I’d be so ever careful Laura. I don’t know if you noticed it… but on the left hand side, the wood is cracked pretty badly under the window sill. I think I would have put an upright plant in the second potter on the ground like you did the left hand one by the door. Just to balance it out.

We get fined here in California for watering. I live in Bay Area and only rich people have nice lawns and homes on golf courses lol my friends just moved to Eugene and I’m thinking of doing same. Also we have fleas here and I would love to live somewhere where fleas are only seasonal for my snimals

Color is A+++……question the 2 horticulture soldiers at the door, kind of confines the doorway. Poss. use one tall pot and one round topiary, so the door does not look so perfectly staged……times, thinking outside the box, door, window, corner can be less in our face and more grand to the eyeball. | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CrcdGn9elOM | Nite blooming jasmine would smell great by the shed and the coop as well. Even small sculpture sitting on the ground by the door, would help balance and make it more welcoming.

I just finished getting all of my containers readly for planting today. I have one under my garden shed window too. yours is fancier. But..I got an idea while watching this. I will get an old multi-paned window and cover my shed window with it. i will paint it..spruce it up and turn it into another focal point in the back yard. Ta Da!
    Thankyou!

What a sweet little potting shed and video. I’ve always wanted a potting shed. The potted evergreens with Supertunias are so gorgeous! What is the variegated plant on the left in front of the spiral topiary, please? You’re so right! Shutters will REALLY add a lot. Thanks Laura! πŸ’œ

What do you do with the evergreens in pots in winter? I live in zone 5 and would love to have something similar. Thank you so much for your inspiration, for your husband’s video work, and Dexter’s silly antics!
