Great information about peonies – once the blooms are done I cut back to the ground. Now I know this is a MISTAKE. My Black Eyed Susan’s dried up last fall and did NOT come back this year. I had learned that they do have an expiration date. Thank you for the information. Mary from Maryland I’m obsessed with HUMMINGBIRDS.

Lovely garden. I’m in NORTH Alabama USA. I have a large yard and would like to have a lot of plants and shrubs like yours. BUT, I’m 76 yrs old so don’t have the strength to do a lot as I used to. I am inclosed by trees but have sun on West and south sides. Love your large hydrangeas .

i planted several varieties of hydrangeas a few unknown & new types this spring in front of my 16 foot basement apt for added privacy, life & color. It’s the 1st full season & they’re thriving well. I try & use local groups from fb or use marketplace for free or resales vrs big box stores. The pandemic turned me into an outdoor/indoor🪴 addict but the neighbor’s & landscape team love it.🦋

Hi Kelly, Thank you for sharing your beautiful garden and wonderful tips. Are you planning on adding others all varieties of low maintenance panicle hydrangeas in your garden? For example Quick Fire Fab or Firelight.
