UV just helps prevent the sun from deteriorating the fabric, it doesn’t stop light penetration.

I have electric at my garden. I use a $10 heat gun from Harbor Freight. Measure out my spaces, spray a little spot of white paint.to mark the place for the hole. Then use the heat gun to make the hole. This also seals the edges. Do the same thing when I cut a piece.

would lumber wrap (get it at your local hardware /lumer store) work the same? I think it would. somebody told me that it is a best kept secret for gardeners! And it is FREE!

When I order shovels and other like things you take for granted and when I use t live and was raised there, I took for granted as well, we’ll order through you. I already put some tools in my cart from your store, I hope there is know time limit let me know if there is. I live in the Philippines now, that’s my channel above, and the tools here , totally suck!!! So I have to pay the shipping to send stuff from my USA! It’s so bad, I’m willing.

Could I add bark on top of the DeWitt fabric? Would that reduce the effectiveness?

what advise can you give me, you do not mention in your video how long the second rise should go. Thank you CC

My grandma and than us use to just use old carpet. We would always joke about her carpeted garden. But no weeds was in it.

This was very helpful. So am I to understand that you don’t use the poly plastic in the garden but just the perimeters?

  17. Mariana Strizheus on August 31, 2021 at 10:58 pm

Can I use it for landscaping rock?

  18. Charles Kirksey on August 31, 2021 at 10:58 pm

Use this weed fabric "DeWitt UltraWeb 3000", it works great and weeds DO NOT come up through it.

Oops spoke too soon, should have waited.

  20. Julie Clark on August 31, 2021 at 11:05 pm

To stop the weeds growing on and through the fabric, just cover your whole garden even your beds, never cut the fabric always burn to cut and make holes to put your plants in, never leave fabric out over winter, store it in a cold dry place and then cover crop beds over winter.

For the life of me, I can’t understand why anyone would use fabric instead of cardboard or newspaper.

Awesome video, just a tip, if you want your camera to focus on random small subjects, don’t get too close to the lens and just put your another hand behind it/them, and the camera will auto focus on your subjects 😉
