A man has transformed his back garden into a tropical paradise complete with running waterfall and a huge koi pond – for his poorly pet pooch.
Chris Lodge, from Wollaston, Northamptonshire, has spent three years and thousands of pounds on the mammoth project, which also includes a rope bridge, Tiki hut, lighting and dozens of tropical trees and succulents.
The 45-year-old construction worker used his spare time to create a piece of paradise for himself, his wife Sharon and their poorly pet dog, Dice.
And now the Boxer dog – who is unable to roam far from home due to seizures – can often be found falling asleep on the wooden bridge as he listens to the soothing sound of running water.
