Do you have a link to the light gauge you were using?

If the plants are in the window receiving sunlight already are the grow lights even going to help?

I rarely comment on videos, but this was so informative and explained clearly. I appreciate that you compared multiple products, (scientifically and esthetically) and you got right to the point (well edited ). So many videos are people blathering on and on without saying anything useful. Plus, the purple light jump cut was funny. I think you are genuinely into sharing the information instead of being “on camera”, where so many people are annoying and trying too hard to be cutesy or whatever. Loved it, thanks.

Which bulbs also produce some heat? For plants that require more arid and warm climates?

    Please can someone help me:
Do the plants mind if I put on the grow lights at irregular hours?
Example: three hours in the middle of the night when I come home from work.
Or do they (Calatheas) get disturbed in their sleep because Calatheas close their leaves at night?
    Thanks.

I honestly am in love with my newest lights they are LEDs. I’m a plant scientist and I’ve been doing lots of videos in regards to the science of lighting indoors. From how long to run your lights to distance etc. https://youtu.be/bCD4nJNkmxE

Hi I am trying to figure out which grow light/s to get for my succulents(I keep them all indoors)? I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and we do get a good amount of sun here but the weather is verrrryy unpredictable. And our summer are VERY short our winters are very long and cold. autumn and spring (if we are lucky enough to have them on any given year lol) are quite short. So that’s probably a lot more info than you need lol but I was hoping you could help 🙂
