Here is how you can get rid of mosquitoes that are attracted to indoor plants with some some simple non-chemical methods. Plants like marigold and tulsi can be great mosquito repelling plants that are easily available in local nurseries in India. In this video I explain the science behind them.

I always liked your contents and I thought that I won’t react but 1st- it’s volatile compound or chemicals or matter or essential oil but only the word volatile is not proper or correct ( since you are collaborating with an App. For English language) 2nd- Basil doesn’t contain any volatile compound named Tarragon. Tarragon is an another plant similar to basil.

I don’t know what are you doing but if you do some research work in sidha medicine it will give you more information about tamil medicine, there are lots and lots of surprises and information waiting for you. Don’t confuse between Ayurveda and sidha. Sidha is Tamil based and Ayurveda is sanskrit based…. 👍👍👍

My hometown is Guwahati, Assam. We have a huge front yard where Tulsi/ basil grows like weed. One quarter of the front yard is covered with Tulsi. However, they have zero effect on the mosquitos. In fact, all the mosquitos seem to be gathered around the Tulsi plants, at the stems and leaves. 😂😂😂…. I guess it is a myth that Tulsi can repel mosquitos. Strictly speaking on the basis of my personal experience. I do not have any scientific data.

  42. Lorena Esparza on October 5, 2021 at 9:05 am

Beetles ! I’m terrified of them . Wasp too . On the first night I bought my plants I noticed these two insects flying around my balcony including a moth . I screamed so loud and ran inside . I even turned off the light .to make sure they weren’t being attracted to my porch because of the lit light .
But now it’s Ben day number 5 and I have not seen anything creepy looking flying around my porch .
So was it my screams or perhaps the marigold that is keeping them away ?
    I have a marigold
