I’m so happy you used the zucc plant as that’s my problem. Will run down the neem and other oils. You mentioned male flower; what does female flower look like? My plant only produced 3 zucc so far and I lost a whole stem of the plant from wetness, I guess. We’ve had an abundance of rain this year. It is in a raised bed.

My neem oil although 100% pure has a warning not to ingest, so I don’t want to put it on the plants I intend to eat. Any alternatives besides essential oil because none are to be ingested?

What kind of peppermint and rosemary oil are you using? I originally thought essential oils, but 1 tsp would be a full bottle and it’s not in those squeeze bottles like you have. I don’t see it listed in the description of the video and haven’t found them in your again list either. Thanks!!

If I bought the Bonide Neem Oil which doesn’t have AZ in it, can I add some of the neem oil with AZ so that purchase wasn’t a bust? I have aphids and white flies. Or just stop the bonide all together? Any help is appreciated! Thanka from Central Florida.

  45. Vince Herb Hayward on October 14, 2021 at 9:39 am

Gallan of sea water with 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper and 2 tsb distilled vinegar. Its good for cabbage radishes and turnip and rutabaga.
Spray every 2 weeks depending on if you get alot of rain spray in 1 week.

Found some stink bugs or shield bugs on pole beans. Went ahead and sprayed neem oil. I normally wet the leaves down until they’re dripping (both sides). That’s the correct way to spray neem oil isn’t it? To douse it and soak them? It doesn’t hurt the plants?

Any tips for how I can make a spray from either commercially purchased dried tea or liquid concentrate from stinging nettle? I’m not really able to find or make this from the plant. I have sooty mold on my gardenia bushes and crepe myrtle in Florida. Hallllp.
