Hi, we’re Matt & Sara. Along with our 4 kids, 2 dogs, a lot of bees and 50ish chickens we have been developing our homesteading lifestyle. After nearly a decade on our property we are debt free and using this FREEDOM to do what we love best, becoming more and more self reliant!

We support our dream by working from home running our laser engraving business.

If you grow kohlrabi that should do fine in there. I’ll have to check my lilacs after work. Onions like an inch of water a week is what I was always told.

Hilarious beginning!! I think gardeners are eternal optimists (especially Minnesota gardeners): "it looks awful, but I don’t want to pull it because it just might come back!" …and…repeat 🙂

I am definitely watching here on the western border of MN. I have wondered what we really can do with a hoop house like that.
