I like that you explain everything thoroughly in each video. It is considerate to those who stumble upon your vids that are not subscribed to you. I appreciate all the necessity reminders as well. Thank you for being thorough and explaining everything well!

I’m tellin’ ya, you gotta get some merchandise going. Odell shirts with "It’s Pour Day!", "50% horse hair 50% Nylon", "Here’s Big Blue", "T.N.T. Dynamite", "Remember your 2 Foot Centers". What other ones should there be?!

  18. Valerie Naylor on December 21, 2021 at 1:55 pm

Hello, I watch your YouTube posts all the time and find your work outstanding. Can you please give me some advice? A friend of mine laid concrete the other day and it sunk below the retainer by about 5mm. He said no concrete had escaped. Is it because his mix is to wet? Asking as I’m pouring a patio myself and want to leave the retaining wooden beams in place as a feature. So I won’t want the concrete to sink. Thanks heaps Pete

Why not just have a certified horticulturist move the Cacti to a better location ?

What is the name of the curing compound?

  24. Db Construction on December 21, 2021 at 2:08 pm

What’s your reasoning for the wood bull float? I like using wood mags for setting my heights initially but always use a magnesium float after screening.

  25. Nic Thomas on December 21, 2021 at 2:08 pm

Odell could have its own relaxation channel no narration and different music, with clips of the team finishing each surface. You certainly have the weather, part 4 removing forms or will that be too soon?

How much for this total job??

  35. Blueshirt on December 21, 2021 at 2:23 pm

Everybody talks about how nice your finished product is, but I want to say you really seem like a great owner/operator. Your guys always seem happy to be at work, and I rarely see people standing around in your videos so you obviously manage the number of personnel well, unlike government work where 20 people show to the job to hold up 15 shovels. So often people forget that good management makes good workers, and good workers make the money.

  43. Ross McLeod on December 21, 2021 at 2:29 pm

That conc is wet enough to be self levelling and a bit of timber for a screed? Like the knee pads and your channel in general though.

What the price to do an Overlay stamped concrete is a 22×20 driveway

  45. Craig Schulz on December 21, 2021 at 2:32 pm

After you cut the joint with the groove tool, is there a jointer tool that will maintain that square edge, resembling a saw cut?

  46. K O on December 21, 2021 at 2:32 pm

Are you saying the 50-50 horse/nylon brush has been retired?

  47. David Silvera on December 21, 2021 at 2:32 pm

Hey David, your link to Part 2 in your description points to Part 1.

  48. orangeskky on December 21, 2021 at 2:33 pm

Hi David – What is the reason you would go with tool joint cuts like this instead of a saw cut? Is it only cosmetic difference and homeowner preference? This question is in particular for a large driveway.
I love your videos and work. If you ever serviced L.A. area I’d have a job for you. =)
