Looks real fine. Maybe bridges used in Bonsai trees for connecting the islands? They also have little village stuff, etc. But, You’re done and it looks great.

  12. Andrew Lipic on December 25, 2021 at 2:05 pm

When I put CC on its says "Sangani roots". Is it sangani or syngonium root or something else?

  13. Kerry Pitt on December 25, 2021 at 2:08 pm

Really enjoying this video. When you add real rock to your tank, how do you figure what weight you can put on the bottom? Does the egg crate also help distribute the weight a bit better? Thanks! Great video!

Any recommendations on a substitute for the sanguine that could achieve the same look?

  16. isaiah murray on December 25, 2021 at 2:14 pm

Prolly not gonna see this but the gluing reaction thats happening is because of the cyanoacrylate
reacting with the fibrous material. Since cig filters are 90% cellulose acetate the exothermic reaction causes them to stiffen into a hard plastic when it cools

  17. Rekab Haras on December 25, 2021 at 2:21 pm

I was liking the scape until you added all those vines in. I think you went too overboard with them .

  28. Raymond Wilson on December 25, 2021 at 2:30 pm

  29. KTownPhantom on December 25, 2021 at 2:30 pm

    Dope!!

  30. Aquarium Knowhow on December 25, 2021 at 2:30 pm

Baking soda and super glue is an old model making trick. If a piece of your model were to break, or you were doing some customizing you would add baking soda to super glue to hold the pieces together. It instantly cures the glue and also adds some bulk to the bond giving it strength. It’s also good for making a gusset like bond between two pieces for extra strength.

Where the heck is the focal point?

  39. Kiku Honda on December 25, 2021 at 2:40 pm

Amazing scape BUT I’m not a huge fan of how a lot of the trees have roots that just stick out straight off the rocks. I’m not an expert, but it seems like tree roots would grow along the edge of the rocks and not straight out like that. It’s kind of distracting.

  40. Caleb H. on December 25, 2021 at 2:40 pm

  48. He is Risen on December 25, 2021 at 2:54 pm

    Crazy cool brother

  49. Ryter138 on December 25, 2021 at 2:55 pm

Alrighty, so I used this technique in hardscaping a 36 bow front tank. Everything is solid as far as rock work. However, it’s been two weeks now and my snails keep dying. Last night I watched my bigger gold snail scaling the rock face and today it’s dead. Any correlation with this method and toxicity???
