Is it really Alocasia Dragon Scale? The shape of the leaves is OK but the color is different. My Dragon Scale (and everything what is labeled on the EU market as Dragon Scale) is deep green, much more intense than your plant. Is it just camera or this plant is bluish? If so, to me it looks more like Alocasia Silver Nebula.

I’ve been super anxious to put my own greenhouse together due to aaaaalll the lights and other options out there. But yet again you made it super accessible for me/us so I feel like I’m finally ready, thanks Harli!

  3. Liza Butcher on January 1, 2022 at 3:33 pm

I would really like to know how humidity builds inside without a humidify?Do the plants produce their own humidity? Thanks!

  4. Tamara Z on January 1, 2022 at 3:35 pm

Hi! Love your channel! What temperature do you keep in your cabinet? Have you experienced any mold issues on your soil?

  9. Nana C on January 1, 2022 at 3:40 pm

Idk if anyone will see this because there’s over 180 comments now. But the rhipsalis @ 17:52 is actually called a hurricane cactus or (lepismium cruciforme spiralis ). I just got one, and took a long time googling what it was so I felt the need to share.

Hi I’m considering replacing my 40W grow light with a new 80W white warm(now it’s purple) Do I need to make the distance between the plant and the light bigger? Thanks

  11. Jane Doe on January 1, 2022 at 3:45 pm

If you lock the left door then it will lock properly. Great green house so lovely

  12. Simply Bethany on January 1, 2022 at 3:46 pm

I have a tradescantia Nanouk as well and she didn’t seem to be liking the window right now, so I’m hoping that she will do better under the grow lights. Can you do an update on the greenhouse? I really love these videos and all your videos:)

  13. dmbaldwin77 on January 1, 2022 at 3:47 pm

So I noticed you put water in the saucer trays of your plants which surprised me because I thought Hoyas don’t like to be over watered and their roots were delicate. Do you do that for Hoyas and all your plants? I know orchids and violets don’t like standing water either. If that is what you do this will work great while I go on vacation or out of town.

  14. A C on January 1, 2022 at 3:47 pm

We just got two new kittens and I was mourning the plants I was going to have to get rid of.. this is genius!

  15. HaleyJensen38 on January 1, 2022 at 3:48 pm

Just ordered my greenhouse and need an update of the plants in yours 😂

  17. Karlie Bartlett on January 1, 2022 at 3:52 pm

    Do you use Liquid-Dirt anymore?

  18. Teresa Vaughan on January 1, 2022 at 3:52 pm

Hi Harli this probably isn’t the right place to ask you questions. Because I’m new to YouTube and don’t have a clue how 2 do this. 1. Can you put Hoya’s in a self watering pots? If not, what kind of pots do you use? Can you put them in terracotta pots? If you get this, Please send free Hoya’s….Lots. New here, I have lots of space for the ones that smell. Just kidding…no I’m not!

  19. Kenneth Yau on January 1, 2022 at 3:52 pm

    Nice idea

  20. schnitzel 1234 on January 1, 2022 at 3:53 pm

Will it function with a wood ‚closet‘ where’s only the front full glass ??

  21. bananarama on January 1, 2022 at 3:55 pm

How long do you leave your grow lights on? 👀

  22. Callum S on January 1, 2022 at 3:55 pm

    Ikea detalf

  23. Thomas Williams on January 1, 2022 at 3:57 pm

You should put some rock in the saucer instead of water the rock will make humidity. So plants don’t like to sit in water

  24. Sheryl Grasmeyer on January 1, 2022 at 3:58 pm

Nice job Hali! I love it that you want to share so many of your plants. I am renewing my plant obsession and there is so much to catch up on. I’m looking forward to the day when I can share cuttings with others and share my love of Plants. Keep doing what your doing. It’s awesome.

  25. Mildred Arevalo on January 1, 2022 at 4:05 pm

This is the first ever video I had watched by you and I am now a new subscriber please keep us updated!! I love this ! 😄

  26. Stacey Sullins on January 1, 2022 at 4:07 pm

So ar you going to weather strip the doors or just keep them like that?

  27. Nick S on January 1, 2022 at 4:07 pm

If you have a light meter, what is the FC reading they give off?

  28. Andrea Willis on January 1, 2022 at 4:09 pm

    Okay so.
Cover pots and then put them in water?? For humidity??
And if I do not use the weather stripping that everyone else suggests, wouldn’t that mean I wouldn’t need a fan? I don’t want super crazy humidity. In retrospect, would you change anything? I am on a similar mission as you were at the time that you made this video.

  29. ccross04 on January 1, 2022 at 4:12 pm

Do you have an update on how these plants are liking the greenhouse?

  30. Lonely G on January 1, 2022 at 4:13 pm

  34. Avi Candia on January 1, 2022 at 4:16 pm

You just answered a question that I did not even know that needed to be asked. Perfect. Indoor green house

  35. Morgan Richey on January 1, 2022 at 4:17 pm

I love your videos because I feel like I’m your friend and we’re just hanging out. Thank you for being my friend through quarantine haha

  36. jessi330 on January 1, 2022 at 4:17 pm

The airflow is very restricted with the glass shelves. Opting for wire shelves, or custom cut acrylic with air slots cut, quite pricey but works. And corner shelves instead of a full width one. You also need weatherstripping to keep the humidity in. I have two without weatherstripping and there’s no humidity.

  37. Venetia on January 1, 2022 at 4:19 pm

Nice video, but what does wine have to do with the plants?? Maybe it’s just me but I was wondering why they are sponsoring a plant video?

  38. Bazingalla on January 1, 2022 at 4:21 pm

Ok I’m confused because isn’t putting plants so close together like dangerous cuz the plants could spread diseases? Keeping plants spread out or just not touching is general prevents that, and why are they putting water in the saucers all the time..? They’ll get root rot like that. It looks nice for sure but this layout isn’t good for the plants.

  39. Liza Butcher on January 1, 2022 at 4:22 pm

Thanks so much for this video. Is there a reason you are not using the reflectors?

  40. beabop aloola on January 1, 2022 at 4:23 pm

Give your Hoya Latifolia something to climb on and it will put out more leaves. It is searching for something to hold on to with that long vine

  41. Paige Woeckner on January 1, 2022 at 4:23 pm

Don’t know how I missed this when it was uploaded, but I’m obsessed with ikea greenhouse cabinets and have smaller ones! I dream of having a few of the milsbos someday!

  42. Tianna Gangloff on January 1, 2022 at 4:23 pm

Do you still like these grow lights? Or is there a better one you can recommend?

  43. Rosa Bazan on January 1, 2022 at 4:24 pm

  44. Green Toeknee on January 1, 2022 at 4:24 pm

  45. Maria Gordon Nielsen on January 1, 2022 at 4:25 pm

Can this be done with a wooden cabinet with glass Doors? 🤷🏼‍♀️🙏

  46. Barbie Flygerian on January 1, 2022 at 4:25 pm

This video has confirmed my desires. I think I’ll add a fish tank to one of the levels

  47. Jessie Irv on January 1, 2022 at 4:26 pm

Hey Harli, to lock it, you have to push the lock down on the inside of the door first, then use the key on the outside 🙂

  48. Malwur on January 1, 2022 at 4:27 pm

how about an 6 months update? how are the plants?

  49. Walter L on January 1, 2022 at 4:29 pm

I saw MissOrchidGirl’s video today about the same greenhouse closet and she figured out that you have to lock something at the top for the lock to work…
Also I’m a bit salty that I want it but I can’t afford it, neither could I buy it even if I could afford it, in my country you can only buy essential items rn and it’s all because the government decided to open up everything including the nightclubs right after the first wave…
    Especially the nightclubs…
    Oh boy…

I need to buy some sphagnum moss, but I can’t even order it because the delivery services are overwhelmed…
To be clear, I’m not placing the blame on anyone except the government…
