Watching you two togerther was even better than watching you build the cages. Hugs from Georgia.

If you like onions you should plant a small patch of those. Most animals will stay away from onions. I think it repels deer as well. Onions are easy to grow and easy to replant. Not to mention they are great on hamburgers and deer burgers 😁

If they were fitted with insect netting, those cages would keep cabbage moths out of your brassicas. Could save a lot of bother!

  21. nunya bznz on January 5, 2022 at 4:48 pm

My planning background would have had me removing the first cover and then using it as a prototype to build the other 7 on the porch. Having to work alone for years forces one to think out of the box.

You are such a great husband. God bless you. Have your wife look into her iodine level for a cure of auto immune problems. not a blood test but urine test. She is probably very deficient in iodine.

Amazing. But what you didn’t show was the mechanism that allowed you to open it via an app on a phone 🤔

Looks to me like those chains are going to be in a way for a good two feet on each end of that Garden bed and what’s to stop the wind from blowing that thing back down on your head

I punched an alligator once because it stole my last McRib. I didn’t get the sandwich back, but I never saw the gator again.

Elizabeth, Consider checking out the Medical Medium Anthony William for answers to auto-immune. I have three auto immune diseases and have improved dramatically following his advice which includes nightshades but eliminates all eggs, dairy and gluten while you are healing.

I love this! My dad built garden boxes just like that in 2014 – 2015. The love he put into it meant so much. I know Elizabeth must appreciate it so much too. Now I need to find someone to build a cover like that since my dad is now with Jesus.

  47. Sister Abagail on January 5, 2022 at 5:15 pm

  48. Gene Velis on January 5, 2022 at 5:15 pm

Thank you! As I’m rewatching this video to build protection for our raised bed, What design would you recommend for taller plants, like tomatoes, potatoes, cucumbers, etc. ?
