Don’t use that tape to mask sockets and switches it pulls paint off with it when you remove it.

  21. James Watchorn on February 9, 2022 at 10:33 pm

I’d always use delicate surface tape on the ceiling once it’s dried so you don’t have to mess about with delicate cutting in which wastes time

    wow sky blue 😂☺️❤️

  23. stevo728822 on February 9, 2022 at 10:34 pm

Don’t clean oil paint from brushes with nasty turpentine. Soak them in cooking oil of some kind which binds with the paint molecules. Then apply dish washing liquid to bind with the cooking oil. Then wash the whole lot off with water. You can also clean oil paint off your hands that way.

"Now when you start painting your walls…..use your extension handle on your roller….It is SO much easier…..you don’t have to reach or bend down!!"

  32. James Griffin on February 9, 2022 at 10:41 pm

Never masking tape around sockets – you’ll always get an unclean line! Just unscrew them (no need to mess with the electrics behind) .. you can then paint behind and get a much better finish.

  33. Patricia Murphy on February 9, 2022 at 10:42 pm

    Great job – thanks

  34. Raj Nirvan on February 9, 2022 at 10:43 pm

There’s really no need to mask around the windows. Use a 1 to 1 1/2 inch long angled paint brush

I have a room for him to buy a painting recently made my dad need to paint my bedroom mummy daddy’s bedroom and paint tester take

  42. ClankyRochet on February 9, 2022 at 10:55 pm

A decent paint cost around £20-£30 for 2.5 litre and it will most likely gives you around one to one and a half coat (of course it will depend on the size of the room). You can save some money by, buying a 10 litre white emulsion (usually around £10-12) and mix 2.5 litre of your chosen colour to it. The colour generally would come out pretty close to the desire colour, albeit slightly watered down.

  43. Anna Penwell on February 9, 2022 at 10:59 pm

    what colour is this

  44. NightUniverse on February 9, 2022 at 11:01 pm

  45. Pina Coladas on February 9, 2022 at 11:01 pm

Glad I watched this currently painting my room, had no idea about the w method and have loads of lines on the wall which I hate. Now for the final coats I’ll use the w method!

  46. SamuraiSpys on February 9, 2022 at 11:02 pm

    Now that’s some good painting

  47. stevo728822 on February 9, 2022 at 11:02 pm

Problem is, all the other rooms will look poor compared with a newly painted room. The door will be bright white on one side and faded white on the other.
