Garden Jobs! | Building A walk-in Fruit & Veg Cage

Join me as I build a 3m x 3m walk-in fruit and veg cage!
Using the no dig method first I put cardboard down which helps stop the weeds coming through. Then top this with compost and manure. Doing a little dance always helps mix up the compost. πŸ™‚

A bit about me, I’m wellies and waffles aka Karen and I live in the North of England. I have a kitchen garden at home with a small orchard, herb garden, polytunnel and greenhouse and I love to share with you how to grow fruit and veg yourself. You don’t need a huge garden or allotment, you can grow on a patio or even windowsill!

Thank you for watching πŸ™‚

Beautiful garden, love the stone wall. We did a similar technique this year for two inground beds.
Looking forward to seeing how things progress !!

    Hi Karen,
Nice to see your enclosure. Good job.
We had a whole week of close to freezing and one night where it did drop to 32Β°F for an hour. And we call that Winter in Central Florida. But I’ve been busy planting onion, carrots and greens. Take care and nice to see you getting a jump on it πŸ‘©β€πŸŒΎπŸ‘

Hi thats a super size cage so good you went for the butterfly netting in my eyes as that covers most of the in there enjoying your fruits , of the gooseberry which do you prefer red or green . Keep safe Bill and val
