Grow Mint / Pudina Cuttings in a Jar | No Drainage Hole

How to grow pudina:
Mint branches can be propagated, by cutting the internode. This helps release growth hormone that promotes root growth. Once roots start coming the branches can be used to grow into a plant.
For no drainage jars, use stones in the base of the jar to reserve extra water. This will protecting roots for rotting.
TIP: Do not water excessively. For a half ltr of jar, a bowl of water is enough.
Grow mint cuttings in mason jars, in style!

Hi..your videos are very inspiring and I am a big fan! I have managed to get some roots to the mint cuttings. But I do not have any spare pot. Can I plant these stems in a take away container(about 5 inches deep)? Or will mint grow only in a pot?

Hello, I tried Pudina twice but in vain.
First I kept Pudina sticks in water, changed water every 2-3 days. Once roots developed I transferred those stick in the soil. It remained for few days but after a week or so plant died eventually 🙁
Please advise. How much sunlight and watering needed for Pudina?
