What a great idea. I was wondering if you had issues with pesky critters down there. Saving this garden project to my favorites file. Can’t wait to see what you plant this time. Hope you all are safe and in good health. Sending you a virtual hug and love sis🙏🏾😁

  13. Antonia Howell on April 16, 2022 at 6:32 pm

Nice, my husband made one similar, but he made it to touch the ground. I asked if he could do it the way yours is. However it does keep the animals out so Im okay with it.

Great video..thanks for sharing. I need this because the squirrels and mole are terrible. How many cubic feet of soil did you use?

  24. Sarah Butcher on April 16, 2022 at 6:48 pm

Thank you so much for this video! I was looking for ideas on how to cover our next raised garden bed. At first, I was going to construct one large box but I like your idea of making halves. Now that you’ve used it for a season, are there any design recommendations you would make?

Hello, Did your husband seal the pvc joint connections together with any sealant to prevent it from becoming disconnected? And it came out really good!

  26. dyey dyey on April 16, 2022 at 6:49 pm

this is interesting.. would like to know what size of pipes you used? is it 20mm? thanks

  27. Christie Oliver on April 16, 2022 at 6:50 pm

I need to do this. I just did an easy U shaped raised bed in my driveway along the fence. Now I’m thinking about cats, squirrels, mice, etc getting into my plants. I wonder how hard it would be to do it in the shape I need

  28. Tiffany’s World on April 16, 2022 at 6:50 pm

Your husband did a great job. I like this way better because the garden is off the ground.🌸👍🏾🥬🍅🥕

  29. Jazz Hands on April 16, 2022 at 6:51 pm

Thank you for the tutorial! Those CTS brackets are, for me, a game changer. Too late into my ‘deer-proof’ design this year, but I will be using your design (or some variation) in autumn.

  33. Brenda Metz on April 16, 2022 at 6:59 pm

Your husband did and excellent, excellent job that was well done. I have never seen a raise bed build like that before. I had wonder how you could build a raise bed that would keep the animals out of your garden. Thank you for that wonderful idea.

  34. JustTheresa on April 16, 2022 at 7:00 pm

I would love to know..did any animals get in there🤔..just curious

  35. Johny Jacques on April 16, 2022 at 7:01 pm

This is an amazing idea, the cats in my yard have been ruining my entire gardening experience by
using my planters as large litter boxes! I can’t wait to try this!!!!

  37. Steph Jacobs on April 16, 2022 at 7:02 pm

Nice. I was thinking staple-gun but yeah zip-ties is way better

  38. Wanda Mann Smith on April 16, 2022 at 7:06 pm

I wonder if this would keep deer out??? Thanks for sharing.

  39. Robert Morrison on April 16, 2022 at 7:07 pm

I like it. I’d be concerned with plants that want to grow taller than the cage though. Any thoughts?

  40. N Pohlman on April 16, 2022 at 7:08 pm

Thank you for sharing!! I just put in a small garden and I know if I don’t find a way to protect it the squirrels and birds will soon have a feast! This is a great idea!
