  14. Un Done on May 1, 2022 at 6:39 pm

Well quit building disposable buildings and then after the local government quits providing tax breaks abandon them only to move a mile down the road building new buildings and parking lots. This type of behavior is destroying our local community.

  15. Erik Peterson on May 1, 2022 at 6:40 pm

The population collapse should reduce the need for sand.

  46. ITT on May 1, 2022 at 7:15 pm

It is just another example of human stupidity. The problem is that humans think that the earth is a infinite commodity and it will continue to provide for us as long as we have the money to pay for it. We humans are a symbiotic lifeform and are reliant on the world’s ecosystem to survive. At the current rate that we are destroying our planet humans will be extinct in under 100 years and there will be around 50% less people in around 50 years. We just don’t have much time left and unless we immediately change the way we conduct our lives our extinction will be unavoidable. Fossil fuels can easily and cheaply be replaced with already available sustainable technologies and the same goes for everything that we use. I doubt that the human race will ever change because global warming caused by the burning of fossil fuels is causing climate change and that fact has been proven for over 50 years but still people think that it is not happening. The average person is no more intelligent than the average dog and that is not being disrespectful to dogs. The human race hasn’t actually evolved for over 5000 years, yet our technology has advanced considerably over that time.

I’m just here for all the people who haven’t been paying attention and are commenting variants of: "but there are deserts" 😂😂😂

  48. Kryptonarie 63 on May 1, 2022 at 7:19 pm

I know what we can do with the worlds plastic crisis, maybe it could be ground up to replace natural sand in the making of concrete?

  49. Lionel Wong on May 1, 2022 at 7:22 pm

Desert sand is dry and loose. Why not just bring it to rivers and sandy beaches to replenish sand that has been extracted from these places ? In time the desert sand will be transformed into usable sand for construction.
