  2. Mortgage Financing on May 10, 2022 at 7:25 pm

Do you have a video on how you built the beds?

  3. Urban Gardening with D.A. Hänks on May 10, 2022 at 7:25 pm

Looks great! Orange and green are opposing colors, so the lawn really makes it pop. What shade/color is that stain? I’m still building my beds up a tier or two, as well as adding new ones, so I haven’t needed to stain yet. Looking for a good color on the PTL, and this one looks good. I also like the orangey color I see on a lot of the PTL fences, but I can’t seem to ID it.

  7. eva matheson on May 10, 2022 at 7:31 pm

You did an amazing job. The beds look brand new again. How old are they?

  8. It’s A Gunther Thing on May 10, 2022 at 7:36 pm

  9. Jenny Pratt on May 10, 2022 at 7:36 pm

  10. Rachel Lehmann on May 10, 2022 at 7:37 pm

I like the paint job you did on the flowerbeds and I hope it was Bonnie approved

  11. Sally Di Paolo on May 10, 2022 at 7:37 pm

Was it really 4 yrs ago??…I remember when you put them in …love them ..Happy sanding 💕😘

  12. donna Lavoie on May 10, 2022 at 7:38 pm

Could you power wash the planter over sanding?

The fence is like a favorite flannel shirt. It looks great worn.

  13. KATHY on May 10, 2022 at 7:40 pm

Wouldn’t it be easier to just put a tub with a shower in the master bathroom instead of a separate shower?

  14. Rhyan Schmidt on May 10, 2022 at 7:43 pm

  16. BeadyBugG on May 10, 2022 at 7:48 pm

Plz ,how do you keep weeds out the flower bed? We use to put black paper overtop but I really don’t like the look.

  17. Mr Dobalina on May 10, 2022 at 7:48 pm

You should have a mask on…

  18. Brian K on May 10, 2022 at 7:49 pm

My goal is to grow veggies not show everyone how pretty my raised boxes are. Total waste of time and money.

  19. Kelly Pruett on May 10, 2022 at 7:50 pm

  25. Kasey Centanni on May 10, 2022 at 7:54 pm

what about making these beds out of composite decking boards ? that way you won’t ever have to do this?

  26. Jennie B on May 10, 2022 at 7:56 pm

    Came here to watch Joel.

  27. Patricia Kemp on May 10, 2022 at 7:56 pm

    thank you

  28. Gilbert Camarena on May 10, 2022 at 7:56 pm

Is wood Sting safe for the vegetables?

  29. Natasha Ann on May 10, 2022 at 7:57 pm

What type and size of wood are the beds made from? Do you worry about stain getting into the plants? If that was my fence and it brings in that many comments, it could have it’s own channel😂

  30. morgs365 on May 10, 2022 at 7:57 pm

I just love how enthused you are about your handy work and teaching others, you’re like Washington’s Ciscoe Morris 😆

  31. Jason on May 10, 2022 at 7:59 pm

    How did you make these?

  32. Patricia Bagnell on May 10, 2022 at 7:59 pm

That stain would look great on the fence. LOL I know Bonnie said she loves it like it is.

  33. Emily Hutchison on May 10, 2022 at 7:59 pm

Amateur question for you Joel. My husband built planter boxes for me a few years ago and I love them. He use pressurized 2×4’s. It doesn’t look like you did with yours. Do you have a reason or preference? Thanks 🙂

  34. Jillian Dilbeck on May 10, 2022 at 7:59 pm

Oh Joel , my husband got his tonsils out as an adult … Bonnie is a great nurse. Hopefully you’re a better patient than my husband 😬

  35. hafza macie on May 10, 2022 at 8:00 pm

I have checked many woodworking plan sites. I think the instructions from Woodglut are the best.

  36. Mortgage Financing on May 10, 2022 at 8:00 pm

Wouldn’t that be toxic near your garden ??

  37. Epacris Imp on May 10, 2022 at 8:00 pm

Is the product you used safe to use on a raised garden bed that will be growing vegetables?

  38. Maria Nygaard on May 10, 2022 at 8:01 pm

Next time : paint or stain your fence 😂😂😂👌👏

  39. shelldanielle on May 10, 2022 at 8:02 pm

I’m going to attempt to make a raised sand pit for my son to have access to from his wheelchair. Can you do a video on drill bits and different screw types for wood etc

  40. Johnny West on May 10, 2022 at 8:04 pm

Love those planters Joel. I’ve been wanting to make one or two for myself for a while now. Is that pine or cedar? It’s kind of hard to tell with the multiple coats of stain.

  41. Kathy Young on May 10, 2022 at 8:10 pm

I’m jealous of your sunshine and those are some healthy looking tomato plants you put in. We’ve still had some freezing temps and chilly days in Michigan and I don’t feel safe yet in planting because I don’t want the trouble of covering new plants. Nice job on the raised beds, they look great.

  42. Petra Patron on May 10, 2022 at 8:11 pm

Please Joel make a video about how you repaint your fence . Can’t wait for more videos ! You are such a inspiration to me. Thank you ! I love seeing bigger projects done ✔ 😉

  43. Ann Farque on May 10, 2022 at 8:15 pm

Wow! Looks good Joel. Great job!👍👌

  44. eva matheson on May 10, 2022 at 8:16 pm

I know Bonnie likes the fence the way it is, but won’t leaving it weathered looking decrease its longevity? Not telling you what you should and shouldn’t do, I just want your thoughts on it.

  45. Kim Jackson on May 10, 2022 at 8:16 pm

I am looking forward to the video that will teach us how to make trim cuts

  46. Holly R on May 10, 2022 at 8:18 pm

Yeah idk how a perfectionist like Joel stands that fence 🤣

  47. Mel K. on May 10, 2022 at 8:19 pm

Hi! I’m having some cedar beds put in my yard right now. I know this is a few months old but would it be beneficial for me to stain the inside and outside of the bed before filling it? Also, do I need to sand down the fresh bed before staining? Thanks for the help!!

  48. Jane green on May 10, 2022 at 8:19 pm

Great job again Joel, goes without saying I guess! Thanks for all the hints and tips. Love to the family💕👍🏼🇬🇧🕊

  49. Best DIY Russia on May 10, 2022 at 8:20 pm

Yes, we probably will have something like that too, as the earth is too stony. But now I’m trying fairy-gardening. You can see the first miniature attempt on my channel. Maybe you can advice some plants, as I’m thinking of a bigger one now?

  50. Erika Ragano on May 10, 2022 at 8:22 pm

I’m the odd one out and actually love your fence 🙈
