Iโ€™m paying attention to what you say โ€˜cuz Iโ€™m preparing to have work done at my home. I like the way you explain things and the reasons. Just wondering – – you know a trustworthy company in San Diego (like yourself/company)??? Doris @ San Diego

Pavers or stamped concrete. What would be better? Would they both have the same rating?

Why are those palates only half full? When I did my patio last year, my palates were stacked twice as high, and I only needed five of them for 600 sq ft of patio and walk way.

  46. Ed Shepherd on May 18, 2022 at 8:34 pm

Great video. Your videos make for difficult decisions. My wife and I are trying to decide between stamped concrete patios, or paver patios. A 10’x20′ patio attached to an (offset) 12’x12′ patio to build a pergola on to. Is it safe to assume that stamped concrete would be cheaper, and less maintenance?

  47. Steven Rogers on May 18, 2022 at 8:34 pm

    soldier course?

  48. Valerie Naylor on May 18, 2022 at 8:35 pm

  49. Chris Vanderhoof on May 18, 2022 at 8:39 pm

What would happen if you put like mortar as the top sand and wet that down? I think I saw a video where some DIY lady did that. I’ve never heard of poly muric sand.

  50. Jonathan Taylor on May 18, 2022 at 8:39 pm

The nice thing about pavers is that they can’t turn into a unfixable messโ€ฆ concrete is stressful, pavers are much more DIY friendly.
