The arsonist. Charlie Chaplin.
White people get away with anything. He was crying because he though he was about to get 34 years
This is so messed up! Glad he got caught also if there’s a movie Nic Cage has got to play him!
Ten years? The legal system is a joke.
Not me clicking on this and it’s my college omg
Gary saved his life
What is worse, the loss of a human life or the loss of an entire library full of books and learning? Both are just hideous.
Omg how scarry
That’s scaryyyy 🙁
Shadow
John 15:13!
10 years, that’s disgraceful. He at least should have gotten a year for each he walked free

Arsonists who take lives w/ their fires should also be set alight. Actually you know what even if it’s just property destruction light em up
He was 12 years old at the time he started that fire. And he gets 10 years for it? 🤨
Chaplin. Least hopefully they catch these kids 12 year old kid my godh what a wild kid he going to have to live with the fact he killed someone
I have lived in Everett since 1988.. I lived for 24 years at 2131 Grand avenue. I remember very well there was a fire that broke out in a garage just 1 block north of my apartment. And I remember going down to the fire with my neighbors and my girlfriend. I remember standing watching the fire department put the fire out and there was this one guy who didnt look like a neighbor. I didnt pay him any attention but I did recognize his picture later when the artist rendition was first put out… and then when he was arrested I did recognize him as the person I saw at the fire… paul keller…
Yes that’s very sad but when a person does that for a living very dangerous job
I think you kind of get a idea when they brought the chaplin.
I’ve lived in Everett Wa for 19 years and worked here for nearly 25 years and this is the first I’m hearing of this tragedy. Thanks A & E, I’ll pass this story on to the community.
Gary saves this guy’s life by giving him a mask and that selfish a** guy proceeds to walk to safety without him. Leaving him for dead. Wow
You were there guilty
But gsry never made it out he gave up his life for the other guy

Fk sake
Confessed to 70 fires hes going to jail for a long time I think these kids have to find something else to do for fun
USA justice system: if you never got in trouble with the law you are innocent until proven guilty. But if you have any kinda record you are guilty until proven innocent.
You live by the gun you die by the gun.
The arsonist has oddly shaped feet
I wonder in what way they try a guy 30 years later for a crime he committed when he was 12. If he had been tried at the time he would have been tried as a juvenile.
Elmer kind of gave himself up
Woah that’s a bad fire
I find this interesting because you usually never see a murderer cry like a baby and be that remorseful. 🤔
Guaranteed they wouldn’t have given a 12 year old a 10 year sentence. Just my thought.
Who would name their kid Elmer? No wonder he was a troubled kid.
They got him on film good thing
Never talk to the police. Never give a polygraph.
You should be sorry
She’s doing her best to not look feminine!
Polygraph tests are pointless. Are they paid for out of tax payer dollars?
I knew a kid that was an arsonist in middle school. I think he burnt down 3 million dollar houses in a month or so. He now is n the army reserves and does logistics for Budweiser
Bloody awful breathing apparatus safety procedures kills more US firefighters every year. The lesson has never been learned and I am at a loss to understand why. It should NEVER happening it does. All we can do is make it as safe as possible. No safety procedures at all is just madness.
Watch the doc on Paul Keller. He was born evil. I felt so bad for his mother.

OMG what a jitbag. Philadelphia USA
If he was 12 years old at the time, where were his parents?!
Where was elmer
he gave his life to save another.
nothing screams hero more than that.
True hero
