How To Cryptic Crossword: Walkthrough Tutorial of Take A Crossword #9

This video doesn’t just give you a set of tips and questions with immediate answers. Chip actually takes you through the steps of answering a real puzzle, one to which even he won’t know the correct solution until a viewer like you shares the answers! This way, you can learn by doing!

ANSWER APPEAL! Unfortunately, Barry’s mum tidied away his copy of Take A Crossword Issue 9… which means we currently have no way of knowing if any of Chip’s answers are right! Do YOU have a copy of this magazine? Or know someone who has? Please comment below and let us know…!

Make sure you’re subscribed so you’re notified when Chip compares his answers to the real solution! In the meantime, here are the questions from the puzzle, in the order we look at them…

Fantastic video, it’s hugely helpful to see you go through the whole process. Plus the apps are great suggestions. Perhaps 8 across should be spinner, as in spin bowler and spin a web? Would be great to see more cryptic crossword videos, thanks!
