I love this bed!! Would never had thought of linseed oil, thanks for the tips! Now I know what I’m going to build for my garden!!! Thanks again!
where is this location in the US? As in northeast, south, looking to compare his methods to my weather here.
How do you keep neighborhood cats from using your raised beds for their toilet?
I’m doing a raised garden bed this year. I Heard you can put newspaper at the bottom of the bed. Can you use old magazines also? Will the ink break down somehow? Curious. Thanks for all your helpful videos.
dont ya wish wood was still cheap …holy hell the prices .
I think I will put melons in the deep one and cucumber/ egg plant / pickles in the shallow one. By installing a 7ft trellis from another video from you, stringing rope at top, I can train vining plants to shoot up. Where melons/ small H2O melons grow, have net slings at the top,for them to rest in. I will duplicate your idea but smaller. May do all four sides with a gride over top for side & center planting..(could do a reasonable grouping of cut down pallets on top) "imagination & practicality if key"
"Ty James & 🐾🐆Tuck🙏👍💕
Wouldn’t the hardware cloth be good in any location, concrete pad, or dirt, or grass, because it would keep moles from digging into the bottom of garden and eating carrots, etc
Wow very nice job💪 Congratulations 🎉🥰 I loved your videos help me a lot in my garden ,God bless you 🙌🙏💪
can I use bamboo trees instead of wood? ???

Thank you little brother. This year will be my first time putting my raised garden a friend built for me in my backyard. Stoked. Thanks again!
The big problem I think the wood will be decayed in 2 years, should use soaked green wooden!
You’re amazing!
James
where did you get them corner clamps from? Brill video going to have a go once this damned rain stops . Cheer Jeff
Impressive!!!! I have always appreciated your gardening advice. But these building plans are also incredible. Great job!
Woodglut comes with very useful plans with all the details you need.
I really enjoy your videos….your a VERY peaceful soul minded person….your teaching abilities are unquestionably the best…i been watching you a long time but i just subscribed to your chanel thanks for your many talents…..
James, I love to watch your videos. You have get ideas on gardening.
I like your intro Jersey
Great video. I followed your instruction and the bed looks identical. Just an FYI to correct the cut list in the description for the scrap 2×4 caps to 24”. Thanks for the great tutorial!
Great videos! the intros always make me smile, keep up the good work
Красавчик 👍🏻круто👍🏻
You make it fun, Thanks😎
Can u please help me make my raised bed fir gardening
Can i use horse manure for growing veggies and will it contain bacteria and if it does how do i remove
i need those clamps in my life. for anyone in NZ mitre 10 have 75mm ones…
How long do you give the wood before it starts to decay(rot) and break down?
Never thought to attach the mesh with screws…I have to use mesh under my beds .. Have a bad gopher problem in my neighborhood.
Hey James, How did you get the hardware fabric tightly rounded in the corners
Salaam alaikum parvez yassan think good thanks so much
James, love your videos. Question, can I use 1 inch think rough pine for my garden bed 3ft x 8ft. I see you use 2" thick lumber. Also, do you have a video that shows raised beds done on a slope of about 5-10 degrees? thank you
Great video, thanks.. How do you protect the wood from the contact on the ground, the oil you use??
James, you could do a whole separate How To. Channel
Oh my gosh, using the speed square as a guard is awesome! I get so frustrated at my not-so -great cuts!!!!! Thanks for the pro-tip!!
Bed looks nice! man i built so many things with an old rusty circular saw. plug in one, the guard didn’t even work. i had to wait for the blade to stop spinning to sit the saw down. built a whole halfpipe with it. I think you’ve earned yourself a new cicrular saw. although yours still seems to work fine. maybe a dewalt cordless you already have the batteries! I’m thinking about getting one myself
"WhAt’S GoiNg oN GrOwErS ?!?" *hip hop moves* lol great stuff.
I heard the snow cone truck go by at 7:26
I can’t wait to make a bed like this. I would love to see you do a video of make one like this out of pallets if it can be done.
James, you are like the doppelgänger of Youtuber, Jared (AKA: “Fro Knows Photo”) except it’s all about “Gardening” with no Fro.
Where can I find the cut list please?
Is the cut list wrong? My top rails didn’t fit and had to cut the 2×4 s at 28 down to about 24 instead. Wasn’t a big deal but wanted to check
what kind of wood is that ‘
Can you make a video of building a raised bed with pallets please. Oh and I REALLY appreciate ALL your videos!!
I would use 3 inch screws my friend. General rule of thumb. Twice as long as the first board is thick.
Oh damn James you outdid yourself. That is a fine looking setup
I like you Garden Amazing I love it
I recommend adding the bottom wire net if you’re not planning to add a bottom. It protects your plants from Gophers. Great video. Thanks!
You’re a dream come true! Love all your exceedingly instructive videos.
