Despite being from a completely different background and another part of the planet, it’s amazing how this lady reminds me of my grandma. I guess grandmas with huge hearts and a lot of life knowledge and experience exist all around the world 😌

    Much love from Brazil!

Do anyone still doubt natural herbs? I’ve seen the great importance of natural herbs and the wonderful work they have done in people’s lives. I wonder why people still spend their money on surgery, injections and drugs each time they are sick. Natural herbs can cure all kinds of illness including herpes, cold TB ALS Alzheimer’s disease Diarrhea Cold sore

-Respiratory illness diabetics, asthma, Cancer, hepatitis, etc. I’ve seen it with my own eyes. I was cured of Hepatitis B and my Sister and her Husband were cured of TAKEAWAY by dr Omos who uses natural herbs to cure different kind of illness. Even Dr. Omos prove to the whole world that natural herbs can cure all diseases and he cured countless of people using natural herbs. I know is hard to believe but am a living testimony. There is no harm in trying herbs. Contact Dr Omos on WhatsApp (+2347035486311) or email dromos043@gmail.com it also cure many diseases like -Respiratory illness

plantain is the perfect 1st aid plant. Chew into a paste and put on cuts will stop Heavy bleeding. Do the same to a rattlesnake or spider bite and it is a detoxifier. You can eat it, put in a salad etc. I use it all the time. Even make tea from it

  11. Tom Bailey on June 15, 2022 at 9:58 pm

Fantastic video! I do have one question for ya though. All the various beds were enclosed in a wooden frame in a type of raised bed. Was this typical or normal for the time period? I ask as a student of 18th and 19th century life. I know from my own youthful formative years, I often encountered these same type of planting areas and when I asked about the wooden frames, the "old folks" would invariably give the same answer. "It helps keep the weeds out, and it’s something I learned as a (girl or boy) from my grandma/grandpa who learned it from theirs."

I thought Plantains were a banana-like fruit… Why is that weedy groundfoil called Plantains, unless of course I am mistaken in believing that Plantains grow on trees like Bananas, and Plantains actually are a root vegetable or they grow from a stem rooted in the ground like melons

  17. victor Giwa on June 15, 2022 at 10:03 pm

Mullein is called Cowboy Toilet Paper down here in Texas–because of the thickness and softness of the leaves. Feel stupid I did not know of it other properties.

just to go along with the roleplay…this lady shoulda flipped that a man with an other worldly box with a wide, dead, demon eye was following her and Jon around.

  31. suzz on June 15, 2022 at 10:18 pm

Also if u r bleeding and it won’t stop, put some cayenne on it, preferably cayenne pepper powder but in any way, it will stop the bleeding just as fast as hemostatic powders that they sell in the store. Just be warned it burns really bad but that is OK if u need to stop bleeding 🙂

  32. Sarah Pirkle on June 15, 2022 at 10:18 pm

Wise woman. Most botanists now agree that the hyssop of the Bible was what the Arabs call "zaatar" and known by its taxonomic name Origanum syriacum.

  35. A Al gregory on June 15, 2022 at 10:20 pm

Great keep on that 👌 . You are amazing and the content is unique… good luck

  36. Big Guy on June 15, 2022 at 10:21 pm

Why all the disclaimers? You gave tons of sound medicinal knowledge, which is true regardless of the era it’s presented in.

  37. Christian Patriot on June 15, 2022 at 10:21 pm

I would double-check the yarrow. I don’t know how many varieties of it exist, but English yarrow has the same compounds as aspirin, which is a blood thinner, not a coagualant.

  38. Joren Bosmans on June 15, 2022 at 10:26 pm

    "it tastes like cucumber"
    "I don’t know if I like cucumber"
Was that him acting to be in the 19th century?

Not one of my favorite episodes. I feel like it’s because he didn’t like cucumbers

  42. diana povero on June 15, 2022 at 10:35 pm

A while back I had a lemon balm that somehow took root in my yard. I kept mowing around it and ended up mowing over it a time or two, but it always came back. But, then I dug it up and put it in a flowerpot and it was dead within a month.
