Either small or big, indoor or out door. Self watering system is the way to go. I am using a Hunter 12 channels with WiFi and it’s saves me a ton of work. My whole garden is on auto.

All gardeners who don’t use machines for watering are living life the hard way.

I got the system thru Amazon and followed the installation instructions but my problem was fitting the spikes to the tubing as it very narrow and got frustrated getting it to fit. So I do not understand how you can say that it was EASY to fit them with no problem !!! If you have a solution let me know otherwise tomorrow I’ll return it. Thank you. I’m looking forward to your response.

I bought this and tried it a few days ago. I had troubles putting the dripping ends into the tube because the tube was very tight (Great, I thought). My setup involves multiple T connections, 1 tube branching into 2, then 2 into 4, then 4 into 8 dripping ends. When I turned the machine on and it started pumping the water I noticed that on every T connection the water was dripping a lot, around one tablespoon in 30 seconds of it running. That’s not really a little considering that I’d need to run it for some 90 seconds. I guess I was not very lucky with my batch of cables but I don’t like to rely on luck anyway. I personally give this overpriced product 2 stars and am surprised that in EU online market it’s basically the only option for the task (others have significantly less good reviews). I hope this will be useful info for those considering buying this.

This was great to see how everything was put together and how simple it was to set up. Seeing how the stakes worked, I ended up grabbing some fan irrigation sprayers to allow for a wider water coverage. All in all great video!

Flooded my front room no matter the position. Put it high and lowered than the water source and the plant… Just kept on watering.

Have you got any updates regarding this system? Has it worked out well? Are there any issues?

  12. Benjamin Sjulson on July 1, 2022 at 11:02 pm

Have you had any issues with siphoning at all? I’m working on a sort of miniature greenhouse project, and I have a small pump on a timer that feeds a drip irrigation line, but even if the pump stops water still continues to flow because it started a siphon at that point. Does this system have some kind of valve or something that prevents siphoning?

If you ever need more tubing, I think it’s just standard airline tubing

How long does the battery last?

All of the clear tubing will be full of algea. Water systems tubing are made in black to prevent light. Light and water means algea

What’s about organi fertilizer in the water (molasses, seaweed,)? Does it pass through the metal filter or better don’t use the filter?

  18. NinjaSmoke House on July 1, 2022 at 11:13 pm

Wonder if this would still work for my cannabis plants….when feeding wonder if the pump will get stuck

  19. Dileep kumar on July 1, 2022 at 11:16 pm

but do you think it is really helpful in real time ? plants can survive without water for a week.

The blue "filter" is an airstone used for aquariums or in hydropony, to add oxygen to water.

My concern is different watering needs. Perhaps 2 would be good. One for high water and one for low water. Or putting 2 steaks in a high water need pot

My 4 way fitting started leaking, so I placed it over one of my plants. Problem solved for now. Another thing I did was turn the timer/ pump on the outside of the bucket, so it won’t accidentally fall into the water. Seems to work good for now. Will put security cam on it so I can observe it from a far.
